It's like how GGG haters say GGG should have accepted a 90-10 split, and a catch weight, against Canelo, because "Canelo is the A-side and he calls the shots."
But... Canelo isn't as big a star as Floyd, either. So that doesn't matter. What the Flom0s say matters is who is the bigger star in a given fight. Canelo is a bigger star than GGG, so he gets to call the shots. GGG is a bigger star than Ward, so he gets to call the shots. Right????

Do you see now why normal boxing fans don't take the haters seriously? Maybe it's not you but overall they can't keep their story straight.
When the topic is GGG-Canelo, they say "Canelo is the A-side because he's a bigger star, it doesn't matter who the higher ranked pound for pound fighter is!"
When the topic is GGG-Ward, they say "Ward is the A-side because if he beats Kovalev he'll be #1 pound for pound! Being the bigger star doesn't matter!"
If you were a GGG fan, what would you think, honestly, when you see inconsistent arguments being used as a way to always be critical of him, and favor whoever is against him?

So clearly when it comes to negotiations, you guys value financial mite, not pound for pound ranking.

Jack - KTFO **** Edwards, MD Marco Perrian Water,
Bute - KTFO by Froch. Who was schooled by Ward. OVER rated.
DeGale - Decent but would never beat Ward.
I would take out ALL my $$$$$ and put it on Ward if he fought those guys and was even CLOSE to a 1-1 favorite.
GGG will fight EVERYONE from 154-168 but Ward had to be 164. That is for a REASON!!!! His ppl knew he had slim odds to win at 168. 164 at least gave him a fighting chance.

If you want to claim K2/GGG ducked Ward because he might lose, then fine, whatever, thats your opinion. But to claim he could have accepted the same situation Kovalev did, well that just makes you look ******.........
GGG would not have lost any of his belts because the Ward offer was for both boxers to have 2 fights leading up to them stepping into the ring with each other. That in no way, shape or form would stop GGG from having those fights at 160. The tune-up fights were/are for Ward to knock off the ring rust, not GGG or Kovalev. Now with that information, please explain why Brook isn't being stripped of his title since a lower weight champion can't accept a fight against a higher weight boxer? I guess Golovkin is the only boxer that can't agree to future fights against boxers from other divisions without being stripped of his current titles.
