Money talks but Ward said once he went up to 175 he wasn't going back down so I don't think he could make a healthy 168 anymore. As good a GGG I don't think anyone favors him to beat Ward at 175. Or Maybe Ward loses to Kovalev and tries to move back down to test the waters...

Stop the lies and madness.
saying things like this make it obvious that you havent the slightest idea how the boxing business works. Kovalev lost NOTHING by accepting the deal. If the fight happens, great, and if not, great. Kovalev loses nothing either way. GGG would have lost both his IBF title and his WBC interim title had he accepted the Ward "offer".

If you want to claim K2/GGG ducked Ward because he might lose, then fine, whatever, thats your opinion. But to claim he could have accepted the same situation Kovalev did, well that just makes you look ******.........

If anyone (including lil g's fans) believed he could beat Ward at 168 that fight would've been made, no way he ever tries Ward at 175, he would get bullied and pushed backwards and he cant fight going backwards (ODH has said this also) and if he keeps fighting cans, his target demo, will not care and/or is dumb regarding his sport or competition. He would get stopped by Ward at that weight and thats his only chance at selling more than 100k ppvs, lil g has proven he cant sell ppv's by himself and he needs Ward if he ever intends to be a ppv star. but his team knows Ward would slap him around

If you believe that the corrupt scumbags at the IBF and WBC would have stripped g string for accepting a non title fight vs Ward, the ****** one is YOU!

...That is right....Ward sneakily ducked GGG...Ward is talking through his hat....Ward called out GGG one hour after it was announced that GGG had a contract to fight Lemieux.....this can be checked out for a fact......second of all GGG's team had been trying to come to an agreement for two years with Ward....the problem was first Ward was in trouble with law suits with Goossen...they were suing each other....Goosen won the lawsuit three times.....then Ward signed with Roc Nation....the first thing Roc Nation said was that Ward needed two tune up fights before they would let Ward fight GGG...then Ward fought one fight at 172 pounds....GGG and his team got tired of waiting for Andre Ward to make up his mind what he wanted to do...then look at the numbers....Ward fought in his own home town and he could not put 4000 people in the arena....Ward fought at the Citizens centre and there were only 3000 people....every single word I have put here can be checked out by anybody simply by looking at the transcripts....and if that is not enough for you then here is a video by Tom Loeffler.....either Loeffler is lying or Ward is lying....only problem with that is that the transcripts will back up Loeffler and not Ward....http://www.fighthype.com/news/article23436.html?

The IBF had just stripped Fury for accepting a rematch with Wlad rather than face their named competitor. I certainly believe that the IBF would have stripped GGG after going through the trouble of naming two fighters. As far as the WBC, they probably wouldn't have stripped Golovkins status as interim champ and mandatory but it would have given Canelo an easy excuse to continue his MW champ charade a while longer. "I want to fight GGG on such and such date, but he is fighting Andre..." I can hear it now.

Accepting the Ward offer would have basically left Golovkin in the same situation he was prior to Lemieux for a whole another year. That's bad business

BTW, it's funny that they believe G is the top of boxing. Never fought just a single big name, still not a PPV draw, not moved up yet but he's the top of boxing...lol
