GGG is the most active champion in boxing. He will fight in december. After that September 10 fight, we'll see who's really game. It will be interesting to see just how positive some of these boxers are on taking that GGG fight. And if no one quality from 154 or 160 is willing, then someone from 168 will do: Bute, Dirrell, DeGale, or if all else fails Abraham. Boxers talk big. But we'll see how much they chirp when GGG is available again.

Everything you do makes you look silly, hype man. I am light years behind you in that category. Seriously, do you truly believe that the lineal title doesn't mean sh#t?!...seriously?!...even though it is listed on boxing resumes & is often associated with world champions?!...seriously?! I guess you're going to say next that world belts don't matter, huh? Jeez, go back to work hype man.

You keep bringing up Lara, hype man. It's like you don't even watch boxing. What in the world can Lara possibly do to GGG that no one has ever tried before? What? Box?...GGG has faced tons of boxers, & most don't have the power to keep GGG off of them. Lara is the same. He doesn't have any power to keep GGG honest. He can't run the whole fight & expect to win on the cards if GGG is the only one throwing punches...& he probably won't be able to because when GGG cuts off the ring, Lara will get obliterated. I don't understand how GGG haters like you could possibly see Lara as an actual threat to a KO artist. What is Lara going to do? Hold him? Murray tried that & got his arse pounded for 11 rounds. What is Lara going to do huh?...what's your case to say that Lara has any chance of beating GGG? He can't give GGG a boxing lesson when Lara's fighting style is tailor-made for GGG, who destroys outside fighters. Look at every single out boxer that ever faced GGG...they all got KO'ed...the more running they did, the worse the punishment. But beyond Lara's style being all bad to match GGG's Mexican style, Lara isn't even a suitable replacement in London when he brings no draw to a UK market. On top of which, De Cuba Jr. said it himself when he explained that it would be difficult to get the GGG fight because of opposing tv contracts. He also went on some tirade about risk/reward for Lara...which is an indicator that they might be pricing themselves out of that fight. That's out of De Cuba Jr.'s mouth. Go watch the interview conducted by DaBoxingVoice. Of course, you won't watch it because anything that contradicts your stance will be disregarded. That's the hype man for you. Go back to work, hype man.Comment

I was working on the fact that you're in a thread about Ward and GGG and having a go at GGG - but I got it wrong, I take it you do actually see Ward for what he is then? A decent but extremely hyped guy who has done nothing noteworthy for about 5 years but still on some idiot's P4P lists? Sorry, I didn't realize you knew this.Comment
