GGG has unified a division, made mexicos champion quit before he entered the ring, sold out Madison square fighting lemiuex, sold out forum (made the attendance record) fighting a NOBODY. Where as Ward fights in his hometown and no one gives a **** Azz. That's what GGG has done. To give Ward the p4p position ?That's like saying manny is StILL the best fighter because he did this and that back in 2009-2011 lol it's irrelevant. Roach is entitled to his opinion however when he criticises ward's last two opponents, the same can be said about ggg with Monroe and wade. It makes me wonder if roach has a fighter that's in line to face ggg, thus the reason for his flip flop of opinion. Based on his statement as written in the article, he's trying to discredit a potential ward victory over kovalev. Why? It's like he doesn't give kovalev a **** at winning against ward. What gives?

If nobody wants to fight you in your own division you move up and take on the bigger guys who will have no problem agreeing to fight you not bring WW up two divisions than have the lil g brigade saying he can't fight Ward now because they two divisions away from eachother

Great observation. Golovkin is willing to defend his title against a Welterweight but not willing to move up to 168 to face a current 168 champion or 175 champion or contender.

Freddie is entitled to his opinion but you can't use caliber of opponents to support the opinion of Triple G being P4P #1.
