His fight with Rubio wasn't for anytitle. GGG won his WBA regular title vs some unknown. Then when he fought geale the WBA made that fight for the super title. That's fact. Go look it up.

When he beat Monroe in 2015 Cotto had just beaten Martinez who wanted nothing to do with fighting GGG. So when GGG fought Monroe the wbc made that fight for the interim champion so that they can force Cotto to fight GGG. But when Cotto wanted to fight Canelo instead they ok'ed it strictly for money reason. But also they allowed that fight to happen with stipulations that the winner has to fight GGG next. Canelo wins, ducks and gives up his title and then the wbc turn his interim title into their full champion. That's fact.

Then he beats Lemule for the IBF.

Dude all im saying is that all these guys are bashing GGG when in reality they should be bashing the sanctioning bodies for allowing interim, regular and super champs. Which is the reason you have s guy being undisputed when some titles weren't won in the proper way.

I've been saying this for a while now. These guys post way more frequently about Golovkin and make more Golovkin threads than actual Golovkin fans do. It's crazy. Yeah, sure, there are a couple Golovin fans who take things over the top on NSB, but nothing to the level of these guys.

Anyways, as for OP, it is what it is. It's unfortunate Golovkin has fought in an era where the middleweight division is so full of fear. From Felix Sturm to Sergio Martinez to Canelo & Cotto to Peter Quillin and Danny Jacobs and Billy Joe Saunders - I've never seen anything like this before where an entire division is this shook of a fighter that no one with a belt will even step in the ring with the guy, it's absurd and a poor reflection of our sport in today's age. Can't fault Golovkin getting his titles because the top guys in his division literally hand their belts to him rather than fighting him.

Seriously, I've never seen another example of when two title holders in the same division rather get stripped of their belt and give their title to another man before, can't think of anything like this before.

in case you haven't noticed, the articles on NSB are never written about Golovkin...it's only the "anti-GGG" brigade that know about him, nor do general finds criticize, on a forum, any news related to Lil'G.

Nobody that I know had lineal champ surrender the belt to him, and #1,2 guys conceding the guy is the best and not wanting to challenge him
