it was weird to me how the wbc usually makes you fight for their belts...wbc was vacant when wilder beat stiverne and others yet they just hand it to GGG...why not fight a top ten contender for it to give it some credibility?

Well dude i hear what you are saying but he did win his titles in the ring.

His first belt he won was the WBA, then many fights later he fought for the interim WBC belt as Sergio was holding the belt hostage and was injured. Then he won the IBF from Lemule.

As far as winning the Interim WBC, well if you forgot Cotto ends up beating Martinez, then Cotto's get a pass from the WBC to fight Canelo with mandatory stipulation that the winner must fight GGG immediately. Canelo win and ducks GGG and gives the his belt up to GGG rather than fight him. So the WBC turns his interim title into their full champ.

If you are going to spew hate toward GGG, its totally misguided. You should be spewing that hate toward the sanctioning bodies who allow Interim champs, Regular champs, super champs. Thats the real reason stuff like this is happening.

Unless you are on a Mayweather or Pacquiao level then you dont really have that much power in boxing. The fighters are ****** to the sanctioning bodies.

Yeah but these guys are being stripped because they are being told they have to fight him and they don't want to. Garcia isn't ducking a mandatory with thurman and neither is brook. If they were then I would say take it off them. GGG don't want Lara though as it makes him look bad. Ward at 168 too. It's a mix of both.

Yes, well if someone doesn't want the fight then blame them. ie blame canelo, jacobs and saunders for those fights not happening, and blame GGG for the lara and ward fights not happening.

if anything...strip him but make him fight the next highest contender...we'd still get to see two top middleweights fight
