for years this happened with mayweather and nobody cared so now I think u all have to deal with it, the double standard of the fans is whats comical. GGG is a good fighter and I enjoy him but his fanatics have taken the place of the pacfanaticsComment

Its a f#cked up situation that no one wants to risk their rep &/or dollar value to fight GGG so while usually I'd agree winning a bunch of vacant titles or being gifted the title by the previous champ & the Alphabet group isn't the best look, the story behind why GGG is in the situation he's in gives him a pass. I mean if Broner had accumulated all the titles he's gotten all in one division that'd be a "disputed, undisputed" type situation like I think you are talking about.
In GGG's case I think so many big names (Sergio, Miguel & now Canelo) have submitted to GGG's superiority to a degree that involved eliminating themselves as potential opponents for him says so much more than beating a guy in the ring in many non-resume ways. Its f#cked up cuz not beating a guy in the ring diminishes your legacy, but I suspect its possible that GGG could end up being like a poormans modern day Charley Burley post-boxing career or something with the caliber of guys who wanted nothing to do with him even at age 34 or whatever he is now.Comment

Dude he beat Willie Monroe for the Interim WBC as during that time Sergio was holding out on fighting him and was injured, so because of that the WBC made GGG's fight with Monroe for the interim title. Then Martinez loses to Cotto who in turn loses to Canelo. And when canelo fought Cotto it was mandated the winner has to fight GGG. Canelo wins then duckes GGG and gives up his title. Is it GGG's fault that the WBC turned his Interim title into the regular champ? Be mad at them instead of GGG.
His WBA title was won years agos. That was his first title win. Then when he beat Geale the WBA made that fight for the Super. Now is that GGG's fault too? Blame the f'ing sanctioning bodies for that not GGG.
Then he won his IBF against Lemule.
So what is this total hatred for GGG about and not the Sanctioning bodies.
2. Martinez had been retired for a year when Golovkin fought Monroe.
3. Golovkin was given the regular WBA world title he didn't win it.Comment

What's stats did you state? You only say he was handed his title.
Plus genius I said I understood what you were saying.
But I told you that the WBA was his first title he won then the WBA turned his fight into a fight with geale for the super title.
He fought Monroe for the interim WBC belt because Sergio at the time was injured and hesitant to fight him. Then Sergio losses to Cotto who losses to Canelo. And when Cotto fought Canelo the WBC mandated that the winner fight GGG immediately. Canelo gives up his title rather than fight him and then the WBC turn his interim title into the full title.
Then he was the IBF from Lemule.
Everything I stated is absolutely 100% fact.
All I told you if you are going to spew all this hate and sourness. Well it really should be spewed to the sanctioning bodies because they are the ones that allow this stuff to happen.
But no you'd rather hate on a boxer, which is funny because you always fancy yourself a boxer and a know it all rather than spew that hate and sourness on the sanctioning bodies who allow this crap.Last edited by boxinghead530; 07-13-2016, 03:10 PM.Comment

However I think you're wrong. The problem is not the Golovkin fanatics, it's the antifans who create 3 new anti-ggg hate threads per day. Go look through the first 5 pages - how many "Golovkin is awesome!" threads do you see? Very little. The majority of the 'Golovkin fanatics' you refer to are simply responding to the Golovkin haters like motorcity, realpug, sugarkhaine etc. The blame is on those idiots for starting the threads.Comment

It's the same guys who used to make multiple Mayweather and Pacquiao threads. Since those guys have hung them up..they have moved onto GGG.Comment
