Broner likely made (from his purse, whatever sponsors he has, and his share off of being a co-promoter of the event) $2m on the Theophane fight, but that doesn't matter.

Pacquiao's last fight did **** business (losing money, in words coming directly from Arum), Top Rank has no other option in-house that will leave Arum not losing his hat again on the fight, and Broner is coming to the table with a name of his own to bring some money with him (while also having an easy handful of other options where he can make at least another $2m once everything is counted).

    Simple supply and demand.
broner's highest purse is $1.75mil, yeah dont let the door hit you on your way out.

One thing's for sure, for the cost of Pacquiao's $20m guarantee, Top Rank is never staging another Pacquiao fight again (unless used to launch "Bud" Crawford into a name who can eventually pay back the loss).
      he sure seem mad tho..

bradley got $5 mil guaranteed in the 1st pac fight, got $6 mil guaranteed in the 2nd and then got $6 mil again in the 3rd. not sure where the lowball is at? broner's highest purse is around $1.75 mil, im assuming arum offered him anywhere from $4-6 mil, which would be double actually triple! his highest purse up to date...........

It doesn't seem like it. There appears to be an atmosphere around him that discourages that kind of thing.

Right now I wish Steve Kim or Thomas Hauser or anyone would say: "Bob, there are contradicting statements coming out of the Top Rank and Pacquiao camps regarding him fighting again.

Can you clarify why that is?"

Donate Felon Broner to the Cincinnati Zoo and cage him up

Broner is not fit for society and freedom and should be locked away in a cage in prison or at least the Cincy zoo replacing the gorilla that was shot for no good reason. Broner is a crude rude violent thing not fit for freedom or society. Do the right thing cage Broner up. Keep decent people safe.

nah lol. Broner has never made over 2mil for a fight and top rank has given Bradley over 27mil in purses. He's good lol. He makes more than any PBC fighter. He's had 4 paydays of 4mil or more. Hell he even got 4.1 mil as b side for Marquez.

Marquez with ppv upside got over 9 mil for PAC 3 and 4. He's even said it. He made 2.9 mil for Alvarado even.

He didn't fight pac a 5th time because he didn't want to risk losing and there's no way to win More emphatically. He's said that in several interviews.

LOL oh bobby. You know he didn't ask for the same as Manny. Arum might be starting to slip. I always tried to give this guy the benefit during all the Mayweather and De La Hoya stuff, but he's a turd.

Beyond that, let's cut the bull****; Pacquiao's guarantee is said to be $20m. If his guarantee was only $7m, Arum wouldn't have loss his ass on Pacquiao-Bradley 3.

Broner could want a bajillion dollars to fight; if Top Rank is only offering $2m, why should he even talk to Arum?
Is it not well known that Arum did take a beating on Pac-Bradley 3? He said so himself...
If Broner turned down 3 million or anything more than that then he's out of his mind.
