So with Broner supposedly no longer in consideration, Arum says that he might just give Al Haymon a ring to see if they might be able to put a fight together between Pacquiao and WBC welterweight champion Danny Garcia.

"I might call Al Haymon for Danny Garcia because it wasn't Al that (messed it up with Broner)," Arum said. "He couldn't do anything about what the kid was asking."

Danny Garcia is an interesting option because he is a current world champion, but hasn't fought since winning the vacant WBC title against Robert Guerrero back in January. And with half the year having already passed by, there's still no word on when or where he'll return.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum says he may contact Al Haymon to inquire about the possibility of making Pacquiao-Garcia.

Broner does a great job of turning down paydays he doesn't deserve.

Paqcuiao is in the news saying he's not coming back any time soon. Bob Arum is selling something that is not there.

Broner knows Pacquiao would whip his ass, classic Cass of the price out. Can't blame him though, one more L this early in his career and he enters the journeyman realm.

he never said he's not coming back anytime soon.. he just said the rumors of him coming back in oct is not true. and that if and when he chooses to come back, it'll be during a time where he wont be held up with his senate work. translation: he's coming back before this year ends...

I have to take everything Arum says with a grain of salt but if they ditch this fight and fight Garcia then it's even better
