He can sell any fight pick anyone huh?
And yet he ducked GGG liked a biiiitch and chose Khan and Smith.
Originally posted by Mr. Luthor View PostAnd all of that does not change the fact that Canelo is fighting in yet another HBO PPV in September and Golovkin is not. Your obvious Canelo hate doesn't change the fact that Canelo has been and still is a bigger star than Golovkin. Please come back and let us know when Golovkin is matching or surpassing Canelo in purse money, PPV buys and PPV money.
While you are wishing Canelo luck at 154, also wish him continued luck as the Lineal and RING Middleweight Champion of the world.
Run forever? Are you so biased and emotional that you don't know that Canelo hasn't even been a Middleweight Champion for a calendar year?

Sergio made his name fighting tough fights against guys GGG dominated.
Destroys the top ten MW, or makes top five run for cover.
He can't help that rather than get crushed fighters hand him the belts.
But Canelo though, he's a beast. He doesn't **** around (with becoming a good boy).

Tom Loeffler, who helps run the Klitschko brothers' promotional company, told me that K2 wants to do Golovkin-Martinez, but down the line a bit. First, the company would like to whet the U.S. fans' appetites by showcasing Golovkin on HBO. That could happen in November, Loeffler said.

By 2013 they wanted Sergio big time, but Sergio knew better.

Is this the same Golovkin that supposedly is calling out every Middleweight on the planet but then gets upset when Canelo, Saunders and Jacobs say "not right now"??
Remember GGG team wants what every team wants...money and exposure...
this doesnt change anything..the fact is that Golovkin never ducked a challenge from Maravilla.

When a 30 yr old Champion, that is looking for fame and to unify the division, is asked about facing the recognized #1 boxer and best boxer of the division, "not yet" is only the answer when you know you aren't ready.
This cat said "politically correct" answer.
Simple question....What would give Golovkin more money and exposure? Beating the #3 boxer in the world/Lineal Middleweight Champion or beat Gabe Rosado on HBO After Dark?
