    Op
Pacquiao will never In the rest of his life be able to ko cotto again. Please. He lucked out the first time by getting cotto down to 145 with no trainer. Literally. No trainer. Pacquiao dies In a rematch.

I've never seen Canelo like many people sees him, i believe he is very overrated, look at the best fighters of their era, Manny, Floyd, Roy, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ali, Tyson, Chavez, all of them where special fighters, Canelo has never beaten a top fighter with a great performance, his best wins where all close fights (Cotto, Trout, Lara), so i can't see him like the future of boxing when he lacks many things.

Also, Cotto didn't expose anything we haven't already seen.
        Excellent analysis. Green't
        And I concur.
I however believed cotto pulled the fight 7-5.

Sure didn't. He "retired" during that time.

Cotto is the better boxer thats why. If he had the power to hurt Canelo the fight would have been way different. I like Canelo but he relies on that big power shot way too much when he should focus more on overall boxing. Khan was out boxing him till the KO, I thought Trout outboxed him, many believe Lara outboxed him as well.

Atleast that's how I saw it. Power didn't win him the fight, weight didn't win him the fight... Skill won the fight.
Personally I think size difference had a big deal to do with the outcome. Cotto shots were ricocheting off Canelo like bullets to Superman while every hard punch landed from Canelo stopped Cotto in his tracks. Cotto has power but you wouldn't be able to tell from that fight. Partly Canelos size and the guys built like a f.ucking tank. Canelo has a underrated chin though

I thought Cotto outboxed Canelo but the size & power& youth were too much for Cotto to deal with and overcome.

I haven't watched the fight since the day after it happend but this is how remembered it.

The only person cotto ever exposed was himself.

He had a tough fight or lost to anyone who was good.

Tells me he wasn't great like ppl claim.

One of the most promoter generated hype fighters ever.

Ppl actually think he was great.

                  Better than tito. Lol

                      Good arguments on this thread.

I personally got Canelo by 1-2 rounds and I'm a hardcore Cotto fan. How?

                      On Cotto's part:

Cant not win the fight by just trowing a Jab, and limited combos.
Did not fully commit power punches/combination.

                      On Canelo's part:

                      Shear size advantage was obvious.

Some will comment on how Cotto was unable to hurt Canelo, but I tell you that I did not see Cotto sit on his punches and commit. Canelo's weight/size advantage was huge making very difficult for Miguel to pressure.

Good fight, I like to see a rematch with a re-hydration limit to Canelo to like 165 or so.
