BTW, all boxing enthusiasts are tuning in to watch the most talked about fighter in the boxing world right now... GGGodzilla!
HAHAHA! So ok no one at 160 will sign so instead of looking at ceiling for a 168lber or ground for a 154lber they dug a hole and went after a 147lber.

    Embarrassed!!!

While there was no contract drafted, the words of Golovkin and company seem yo indicate that there was a real desire to fight Ward in fall 2015. Tom said (not verbatim) 'Gennady would fight Andre Ward in the fall of this year (2015) on a 50-50 basis. The best 160 vs the best 168 right in the middle at 164.' Sanchez said during that time '164 or no fight'. Golovkin went on SN and said the same thing, that he would fight Ward at 164. Ward went on SN the following week and Wiley and Kellerman asked Andre about the "offer". There is an article from July 21 or so where Roc Nation acknowledges this "offer" and says the fight would happen but not at 164. If Ward had accepted 164, would you beso quick to say it wasnt an offer, or would you call GGG a duck?

You say there is zero indication Eubank didnt want the fight. Maybe Jr wanted the fight, but Sr surely didnt. I believe the fact that Brook signed in 2 hours the same deal that was taking Eubank several weeks is a clear indication of "Team Eubank" desire to fight Golovkin.

The quick turnaround by Brook is no indication of Eubank's intentions. Brook doesn't have his own upstart promotion company. So the request for control is logical even if a bit greedy. Plus all the promotional stuff had been negotiated...all Brook had to consider was weight purse size and location. It's a different story if Brook wasn't promoted by Hearn

Also, if mentioning a fight to the media is an offer, why doesn't Lara's statements to the media constitute an offer?

Also, Loeffler did not mention a date in that statement which he acknowledged was just an email to Dan Ambrose.

I hope you're right about Eubank and his willingness. I just see Brook's quickness to sign as an indication of it being a good offer, one Chris should have jumped on. I sonewhat understand the bit about Eubank starting his own promotion but I feel he shouldn't have went to Hearn if that's how much control they wanted. They should have come at K2 themselves.

You mention the speed of the Brook signing being because he is signed to Hearn. That is very important in understanding why Brook was signed. Everything was worked out between the promoters and it was as simple as replacing one name with the other. Dealing with another company takes them back to square 1 with little time between now and Sept 10. Another fighter would have ended up with short notice.

If Im going to consider Loefflers statement to the media an offer, than I have to accept Laras tweets and such. I am a believer that if a person (fighter, politician, or otherwise) gets in front of a camera and says something, they should be held to it. That being said, I think there is a difference between saying something like Ill fight you this fall at this weight for this split and just saying Id fight this dude. I put Lara statement in the same category as statements made by Canelo, Bradley, Froch, and others. Frankly though, I think there are political issues preventing any type of Lara negotiation.

Loeffler didnt give an exact date but he did say this fall. (2015) That's no less specific than Wards email of sometime 2016 after a 2016 tune up. Both statements in my opinion constitute valid offers.

Eubank must be pretty furious about his father, ruining his career. Hopefully they both get their shit together and learned something from this Fiasco and the fight might actually happen at a later point.

I don't care if Eubank pissed himself when handed the contract, plan B is NEVER a welterweight for the best middleweight in boxing and the so called baddest man in boxing. You definitely don't talk trash after you crapped on the other guy for doing the same thing at 5 less lbs and your fighter said Brook was too small to fight. Oh and Brook originally asked for a catchweight. So let's not fool ourselves into thinking that HE believes he will be at his best at 160 or that he is virtually the same size as Trip.

Kovalev was in a different position holding 3 if the 4 major world titles than Golovkin who at the time only held 1 and was mandatory for another. These guys insinuate that allowing Ward 1 tuneup - which is all he asked for - is somehow absurdly impossible, and utterly unthinkable.....

If we use the Kovalev situation as a gauge, it would only have been a month and some change between proposed dates. "This is yet another year in which Golovkins resume will be called into question" only because Canelo wont fight, Saunders won't fight, Jacobs won't fight, Eubank wont fight, not even Toreano Johnson wants to fight Golovkin.

Since the Ward offer last July, GGG has gained 2 world titles, and Ward has vacated one

You wouldn't have a clue, just another golov-defender alt.....

Ward's first offer was made IMMEDIATELY following his tune-up with Smith in June 2015..... you know, the tuneup that was utterly unthinkable to Golovkin fans at the time..... I can't believe you don't remember that, if you google it you will find about a MILLION links.....

Andre Ward Wants Showdown With Gennady Golovkin.....
Andre Ward is determined to face Gennady "GGG" Golovkin soon. The unbeaten super middleweight fighter Andre Ward (28-0 win-loss) wants a showdown with the undefeated middleweight champion, Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0 win-loss), really soon.

During a recent appearance on ESPN's SportsNation, Ward made it clear that he's more than willing to face the hard-hitting champion..... If GGG wants to fight, come from behind the promoter, come from behind the trainer, tell 'em to call HBO, I've already done that before I came on the show because I knew you guys were going to ask me this, and let's make it happen.".....

But nope, Golovkin killed the fight by demanding a catchweight of 164..... despite knowing that Ward weighed 172 against Paul Smith, despite knowing that Ward was about to move to LHW to fight Kovalev..... AND despite being willing to fight Froch, Chavez, Hopkins, Chudinov, Ramirez, and everyone else at 168......

Andre Ward has accused Gennady Golovkin and his team of turning down an offer to fight. The American super-middleweight, 31, said the Kazakh's team rejected the offer and never wanted the fight.

Roc Nation: GGG's Team Turned Down Ward in 36 Minutes.....
Over the last few weeks, a lot has been said and a lot has been written with respect to a potential fight between WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Go

BTW, refusing a legitimate boxing contract in 36 minutes flat, not only proves that Loeffler did not discuss the situation with Gennady at all, it means that he didn't even have time to read it LMAO..... and it also explains why they were happy to fight everyone else at 168, but suddenly remembered that they needed a catchweight for Ward.
