There is only one thing that Hearn and Warren agree on and its that Eubank snr is a complete nightmare to work with. Jnr needs to get away from him

Did Hearn just blindside Loeffler with news that Eubank wanted more than he was willing to give? Did Hearn offer Callum Smith at 164? Did Loeffler ask?

This happened too cleanly for us all not to be skeptical at the very least.

Oh and my post was about trash talking...which no one from Trips team should do.
I'll agree with you about the trash talking. Even though the circumstances are sonewhat different, he still is fighting a 147 guy just like the former WBC MW champ. The thing with Jacobs is that the WBA said they would order the fight if negotiation with Canelo fel through. Then, suddenly, Jacobs makes himself unavailable. That eliminates him as an option.

I cant provide a link or anything, but I'll swear I read where Loeffler said he only enters actual negotiations with one fighter at a time. He said something about it being unethical to engage in multiple negotiations the same time. So if that's the case, then yes, the last month has been wasted dealing with 'Eubank promotions'. Notice Sanchez said something to that effect recently.

Unfortunately, Golovkin didnt have many options or much time to find a challenger for his belts, so we ended up with GGG vs Brook

The guy in your AVI is dragging up a 39 year old unranked SMW. Brook v GGG is way more competitive than Ward v Brand.

Plan B was Jacobs, supposed to been ordered by the WBA, but he suddenly announced he was fighting TBA (later determined to be Mora). Plan C became Eubank Jr, but his dad thought he was Mayweather. So that brings us to plan D. (that is, excluding Saunders from the mix since he priced himself out the fight in January) Golovkin was running out of time to secure the Sept date and had a deal done with Hearn and Matchroom. All it took was to scratch one name out and insert Brook, who has already said he was willing to fight.

Im not a fan of this fight, but we have to understand that time and options were running out, due to the lies told by Alvarez and Eubank Jr.
You can't reason with people. They know all this is true but act as if k2 didn't just try every top MW on earth and get rebuffed.

They want Lara, who also prices himself too high. Sanchez just said Lara should put a legit package together.

Do you think he will? I don't.

Some of you posters on this site have the emotional stability of a 12 year old girl during her first menstrual cycle. Geeez. Get A Grip Fellas. NOBODY is forcing any of you idiots to watch a fight you don't agree with. Move-on and STFU already.

Many creative ways to get out of a proposed fight. Outrageous operational control demands, 164 pound catchweights for Super Middleweights, etc, etc, etc. ☺

You can add "offering to fight a year from now with a tune up next year" to that list

Not quite because Brand's last fight was at Light Heavyweight so I believe that makes this upcoming fight both the 2nd fight at the LHW limit of 175 pounds for 2 long time Super Middleweights. That's not quite the same as a career Middleweight fighting a career Welterweight. However, Brook is certainly more accomplished than Brand.

You mean the exact same deal that was made with Kovalev and that is currently coming to fruition? Let's see what's more impressive....moving up to face the higher ranked P4P, unified Light Heavyweight Champion or having a non-P4P, Welterweight Champion move up 2 divisions to fight you? Hmmmmm??????😄
