Comments Thread For: Golovkin's Coach: Eubank Sr. Found a New Way To Reject GGG

A week ago, there appeared to be a very strong possibility that WBC/WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs) was going to make a fall defense of his titles against British champion Chris Eubank Jr. (23-1, 18KOs).

I wonder if Eubank will be the co-main to GGG/Brook? If anything, this fiasco buys Eubank more time to develop. He could fight Heiland next, then maybe Korobov.

Very good post that would be the next logical step, thing is Hearns family have a known habit for matching them tough and certain fighters who where good get tough assignments look at Richard Williams in against Sergio Martinez two times.

After that was never the same really sad, and Steve Roberts

"dig up" you mean Brook accepted the fight because hearn ran it past him? Then yeah they really had to dig him up especially when he was calling out GGG 4 months ago.

These claims of wanting all these things tells me in my mind he didn't really want the fight ...but this may permanently have lost him a chance at any belt the bank as others may not even want to get involved with him... challenges do not dictate Champions and promoters do...

Yes, let's pretend they weren't talking about Ramirez and 168. Let's pretend they even tried to find an opponent at 168 and that wasn't just more of the big talking they're known for. Bradley called out Golovkin last year. By your logic, that would be a legit fight because Timmy asked for it. Bravo.

I'd like to see Abel vs Saunders Sr.

Has Abel ever wore gym workout apparel vs the same black jeans?
