    A message to Tom Loeffler

Just in case you visit this site and happen to see this thread, please read:

As an avid Golovkin fan that steps up to defend him whenever I can, I have been absent from this board ever since the fight was announced. There have been so many threads over the last few days, but I've remained silent.

You wanna know why? It was out of sheer fúcking embarrassment.

I simply cannot fathom why you would want to make a fight with Kell Brook. Fighting a marginally well-known undefeated champion means precisely **** if the guy is two divisions south and has no chance to win.

This a step backward, and actually damages Gennady's career and legacy in the eyes of boxing fans, especially considering the lackluster opponents he has fought lately. I'm well aware that guys have been ducking Golovkin left and right, but this is not going to help the situation. Take a look around NSB. Even his biggest fans are finding it hard to swallow this shítty turn of events.

To be honest, I hold you, Tom Loeffler, personally responsible for stifling this great fighter's career over the last two years due to chasing fights with guys you know good and well had absolutely no intention of getting in the ring with him.

As soon as Cotto beat Martinez and didn't agree to fight right away, that should've been it. Right at that moment, Gennady should have begun preparing to move to 168, eventually culminating in a fight with Andre Ward. But no.. you ássholes kept holding out for a big payday.

Your greed has fúcked the career of a man who could've been seen as one of the greatest MWs of all time.

At this point, a fringe contender at 168 would be a far better choice than a fúcking WW with one quality win. A fight at 168 would be interesting simply because of the questions that would be answered. How will he hold up against a bigger guy? Will his power be the same? Will his chin be able to handle punches from a SMW? After that, he can fight a serious contender, then go for a belt. That would satisy his fans, as well as many of his ardent detractors.

If you care about Gennady Golovkin in the least bit, please stop this fight and find another opponent. His legacy depends on it.

Tom, dont listen to this fake Triple G fan. Listen to me and the true Gennady fans, we LOVE THIS FIGHT against an UNDEFEATED fighter in his prime since no one else dares step into the ring with Gennady. This is one of the biggest names in the sport, you do an amazing job Tom.

Seeing a lot of this. I have to give mad respect to these fans who stood up for their guy through thick and thin, but don't want to be made fools of. Not because I want to see GGG himself shamed, but because I want the fans to take back their sport and not happily eat whatever they're fed. Sometimes, it takes a revolt to inspire change.

      In case anyone knows this reference;

TOM, none of these trolls have purchased Gennady gear and I have. Who will you listen to? I spend my money on Golovkins PPVs and gear and I can take photos of the purchases. We are the ones that matter and we are happy, period.

Embarrassing times for the ducks and chickens of the MW division. Can't wait to see them painfully explaining their side in front of the media.

i am tom loeffler and we don't need you as a fan! kelly brooks or whatever his name is, is a huge star in the uk and we will be making billions off of this fight. boxing is a business remember? are you going to visit ggg when he's in the hospital? no! he has to worry about his health. lets work smarter not harder! we are collecting that money, we aren't fighting to prove who is best and don't you forget that.

              Fúck your gear, dude.

I bought two plane tickets to NYC, hotel room at Herald Square, and tickets to the Lemieux fight. I got pictures to prove it.

And that shít was expensive af, but I was glad to do it, because I'm a real fan of Gennady Golovkin.

And as a real fan, I can't refute the fact that this fight is garbage.

I want Gennady to be remembered as a great fighter, not as some guy that could've been great, but he spent his last few good years sitting around waiting for pússy ass Canelo or whoever else to step up so he could get a fat paycheck.

Sometimes the sport is more important than the money.

This is one of those times..

Man, I was in the same boat. I'm a big GGG fan. I think he's truly one of the best in the sport and I even defended the Brook fight the other day.

However, after talking with a few posters on here, I couldn't help but notice that they weren't GGG haters. They also think he's a damn good fighter. They were just saying he needs to fight the best and push himself to see what he can really do. And they are right.

So I'm with you. Loeffler has kept him fighting and winning, but nothing else. We don't need Mickey from Rocky III. Golovkin isn't coming off a fight where he was almost beaten to death like Rocky. He is coming off a string of wins where he crushes every opponent and hardly loses a round. Still, though, we know what he can do to guys like that and it's great for a while.

The time for the thumpings of second-tier guys is over. He has to go to 168 and find competition. The Brook fight is just more holding him back. His haters are having a ball now while his fans like me, are either struggling to keep a lie going or they've come around to the fact that the guy's great but he's not proving himself. Maybe he should leave K2 and find some real opponents.

                  It's time to step up.

Loeffler has been trying to wh0re Golovkin out to the highest bidder for a long time. The guy has no shame.
