For all the 'move up' BS that Golovkin gets, there is nobody worth it to move up to. Hopkins moved up when he was 40 bc he couldn't make weight. Why the hell should Golovkin move up to fight a bunch of nobodies for no money?
Hhmm. 175 then? Haha. We know there are dangerous fights there. However, I like his chances to be honest.

I mean, surely Golovkin vs. Kovalev has gone through your mind before. Now what a fecking fight!

It's a pointless fight. What does beating Brook to a pulp lead to? Nothing. You can't claim to like the idea of unification and also claim to like this fight. This fight takes away a unification fight. Vargas-Brook was a fight with a lot of implications in the welterweight division. Now we're damn near back to square one with 4 people holding the belts instead of on person holding half the belts.

Wow. That's another good point. I mean unification of the middleweight title, but he and Vargas were about to unify. I hadn't thought about that. Another reason it's a waste of time. I'm all about unification whenever we can get it.

I agree that it's a pretty pointless matchup, but none of the other middleweights want to fight ggg

              N'dam
              Sturm
              Serg
              Cotto
              Canelo
              Saunders
              Eubanks

              Have all ran from GGG..

It's pathetic that no other major middleweights will fight Ggg..

I know. It's a truly sad time for boxing. I mean any of those guys could probably take Geale. Yet, Geale fought him. Same with Martin Murray and Rubio and others. Why such scaredy cats? Haha.

As I have posted elsewhere, I am not a fan of this fight

However, GGG's options are very limited for September.

Off the top of my head, here's a list of fights that could not me made for whatever reason

                  Kovalev
                  Ward
                  Stevenson
                  Fonfara
                  Berbetiev
                  Rodriguez
                  Williams Jnr
                  DeGale
                  Jack
                  Ramirez
                  Bute
                  both Dirrells
                  Jacobs
                  Mora
                  Quillin
                  BJS
                  Eubank
                  Canelo
                  Lara
                  Both Charlos
                  Vanes
                  J Rock

And that's just the list of guys from 154-175 that are either committed elsewhere, have network conflicts or have already ducked him

With very few exceptions, it was either Brook or a fringe contender

Two exceptions to that for me are Andy Lee and George Groves. Both would have been more interesting. I think GGG wins both but a 168 pound debut or a former middleweight champion are much more attractive. And I know. He's been ducked like nobody's business. Just feels like we're trudging through the tunnel with no light up ahead. Hell, not even an oncoming train light.

You folks who are predicting an easy knockout for GG are in for a long night and the shock of a lifetime.

By only the 3rd round GG will realize that Brook is a different class compared to anything hes faced. By the 4th round the fans will see it too.

All I can say is this- Get ready, a New Star is about to be born on Sep 10.
