I like his style but I agree his style is not crowd pleasing. I actually think people will watch the fight more than Golovkins other fights. Lara is high risk low reward because of his style. What would make this fight so exciting in my eyes is the same reason why I thought Pacqiao and Mayweather would be interesting. How would Laras defensive style fair against triple g's power-punching swarming style?

I'm a golovkin fan saying this.

I have no interest in golovkin fighting a welterweight.

        That's just me.

Golovkin is slowly but surely changing my opinion Of him.

4 years later. Still hasn't took a challenge. I thought he would have been at 168 wrecking **** by now.

instead he still at 160, but now taking on welterweights.

I'm starting to lose faith in gennady
fair enough mate, i get what you are saying. just think unfortunately there arent many challenges out there around middleweight for him, even 168 is pretty weak now, maybe degale would be interesting although heavily favour ggg...

pffftt how in the hell is brook the "best" welterweight when his best win is porter?

The outcome of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is what K2 fears. What if Lara's footwork and accuracy actually sways the judges, and Lara won? Lara is a technician, and he is high risk, low reward, but if you're not "business man" and you want to show you're on an elite level, then Lara is a way more formidable foe than Brook! Look what Lara did to Paul Williams and Canelo. GGG "don't want those problems."

GGG on Brook: "I think he's too small"

This is one of the craziest comment sections I've ever read. This fight is so ridiculous, even GGG himself said 2-1/2 months ago that he would not consider fighting Brook because he was too small. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wnl0HbRtzOQ
