i somewhat agree but at same time theres no rule that ggg cant go look for someone at a higher weight class when he cant find someone instead of looking for someone at 147 i mean lets get real here loughler comparable or not its still bs. its amusing how loughler is able to get ggg fans to spew his one liners

Get on your knees and admit that GGG is Canelo's daddy... right now.. .before I smack you back over that fence you came across..

wade and monroe are mismatches, but this is a joke, just like canelo-khan was..

no he didn't its on record brook wanting the fight at 157 and ggg said that brook is too small.
And it was Eddie Hearn who made this fight, not K2. Golovkin had agreed terms for Eubank Jnr, and after the Eubanks talked themselves out of the fight, Hearn offered GGG the fight with Brook instead, on exactly the same terms, and Golovkin accepted it.

Fans and GGG's manager saying it isn't at or near the same is kinda out there I would say. Again, bottom line, look at the lists below, then tell us you see no other better choices. Money wise, yes, Brook is at the top. So I don't blame either fighter for that aspect of it. But challenge wise... GGG can no longer say he wants the best. He just wants a big pile of cash. Ironic though, since all he had to do was meet Canelo's demand at 155 and they'd have both gotten at or near the biggest paycheck in their respective careers.
But, again, tell me GGG didn't have more choices:
