Why make up all these excuses for him? Fans are the ones paying his bills. Demand better!

If I frittered away all my time negotiating with one distributor and fked over my clients by not having a backup, I could not go to my customers and say, "Sorry, I didn't have any choice." They woudl just leave and find someone more competent. Fans should do the same. The smart ones are.
I agree with that. However, there's no point in moving up to 168 right now if there aren't that many matchups for him. And it would be going against the plan to become undisputed if he's going to start taking tune-ups at 168...kind of defeats the purpose of the goals they had before he became popular (Sanchez already said that once they move up, they're not coming back down). It just doesn't make sense to go to 168 when there isn't a named fighter out there who would take that fight. I would love a Dirrell bout, a rematch from the amateur fights. But being realistic, it was expected that GGG's team would choose the money in this situation. Brook represented the money. It's still a mismatch...but I don't see a ton more options available to GGG. He'll be lucky if he can find 4 MW's to where he can break Hopkins' record.

..... what do you see ?

The genuine boxing fans who like Golovkin..... are disappointed with his selection of Brook, and they do not support this fight at all..... mostly because of the hypocrisy displayed by Team Golovkin over the Canelo/Khan situation, but also because Team Bull****'s excuses are wearing more-than-a-little thin.

Now..... look at what you, and the other tards, are posting ? LMAO

      Sucks to be you man.
I didn't become a boxing fan so I could agree with everyone else. I'm sure you know all about that being a troll. Do your thing as the hype man. I believe in you.

DeGale is ripe for the taking. Take a fight or two at 168 to acclimate and then snatch that shyt. Team GG are fools for not doing this while the man is healthy enough to pull it off. It's like no one in that entire crew gives a flying fk about his legacy. Inexplicable, and I feel awful for the fans who are left defending the guy in futility.

          1) they could have simply selected a better opponent

          2) for how many more years will you accept those piss-weak excuses ?
If you can name me an opponent GGG can pick who would not be considered a mismatch, I will listen to you. I know it's a mismatch. I keep saying it's a mismatch. But who else is left? The 4 top options ducked him. Even a bout against Lara would have GGG installed as a huge favorite. I myself even have a tough time coming up with a quality opponent for GGG. But I know one thing that isn't a tough time: when you're hype trolling. Keep up the hype & i'm sure all your dreams will come true, hype man.

I would watch a GGG/DeGale fight. And I believe that the only way we're getting that fight any time soon is if DeGale takes the fight against GGG without GGG needing tune-ups...like a one-time deal for GGG to move up for 1 fight, then move back down to 160 to continue his pursuit of undisputed. It would feel senseless for them to abandon becoming undisputed when they're only 1 belt away. It might take forever for them to get undisputed at 168.

LOL some GGG fans are making some mental gymnastics to justified this joke of a fight, after talking all this crap about Canelo, telling Lara he needed it to fight someone on 160 before calling out GGG and saying Lara latest opponents haven't been any good, Saying all GGG wants is unification and blabla.

GGG got his own fans in an spin zone.

                What utter absurdity.

                DON'T BE SO RIDICULOUS !

Hearn does not make fights for Golovkin, K2/GGG do.

K2 are not compelled to follow Hearn's direction at all, not one bit..... they could have simply told Brook/Hearn to go kick rocks.

Your excuse is..... " but. Eddie said "..... when Eddie has no control over anything at all.

Will you ever hold Team Bull**** responsible for their own words/actions?

That is rubbish, stop embarrassing yourself with those childish excuses.

                  1) they have mentioned fighting NUMEROUS SMW's, over half-a-dozen..... and whenever Loeffler/Sanchez/GGG are questioned about 168, they ALWAYS say it would be just for 1 fight and that Gennady would come straight back down to 160.

                  2) Stop trying to insinuate that Brook is a big money fight, because he simply is not. Khan was a superstar who had beaten a number of world-class opponents..... Brook is relatively unknown and has only fought Porter.

Stop telling stories, you are embarrassing yourself.

Why do some fans have to defend the indefensible? just agree and move on. The man isn't paying you to defend his own BS. The irony here was how they criticise Canelo and now you can't turn around and try to defend GGG or claim but Canelo did so too.

Brook signed. 4 quality opponents ducked GGG on the way to this result. If only 1 one of those boxers had accepted to fight, we would be talking about that matchup rather than a mismatch. And of course it's a mismatch. But it's not like Brook was GGG's first option...he was plan E. That, at least, must be cleared up.
