Loeffler said that Golovkin would have no problem fighting at a catchweight against Alvarez, who fought Lara in a 155-pound bout.

“We’ve always said that if there is a compelling fight, Gennady would move up or down, we’ve talked about moving up to 168 for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. because that would be a pay-per-view fight and if it’s Canelo, then I’m sure that we could work out a catchweight if he wanted to work out a catchweight and if it’s in his best interest. So that would certainly be a pay-per-view fight,” said Loeffler.

“There wouldn’t be any issues for us to come down to fight Canelo. There would still be a title on the line for Gennady because he would be fighting under 160, so he would be able to defend the titles at 156 or whatever you have the weight be. But Gennady would be willing to come down in weight to fight Canelo. I wouldn’t say it would be at 154 but certainly, given that Canelo fought his last fight at 155, then you could say that Gennady would certainly be willing to come down in weight to make the Canelo fight.

Forget dreams..... learning that Golovkin's next opponent is Kell Brook, and being unable to explain to me why lil'G ducked Canelo as per the quote above..... must be a bit of a nightmare really LMAO
You keep reposting the same quote, but your hype trolling senses aren't noticing the words in the quote. He says, "Gennady would be willing to come down in weight to fight Canelo." The key word "willing," as in willing if there was sense to do so...difference between "willing" and "will." The word "will" is a definitive, while the word "willing" is just an inclination toward. You keep discounting the situation, losing tons of info along the way. There was more sense to attain that belt at 160 & show the fans he truly was the 160 king, then to bow down to 155 & give Canelo advantages where he needs none. Situations change. The fans took issue with 155. The situation that allowed GGG to stand firm on 160 was perpetuated by the fans who wanted the fight without any unfair advantages. If the fans are behind this statement (which they clearly are if we use Canelo's twitter account as an example), then that gave GGG & his team more power to stand firm. People are allowed to change their mind if they want. Even you are allowed to change your mind. And that's especially true for promoters who's job it is to promote their fighter. Cotto & Canelo were more than happy to fight for a MW lineal title under the 160 limit. Others might not agree with it. The fans gave them power to do so. But the fans also empowered GGG & his team to stand firm at 160. Of course, this was all before they chose Brook. But that doesn't mean the history changed. It's the same as the fans empowering FMJ to continue to accuse Pac of PED's, even when there was a lack of evidence. And even despite the lawsuit getting settled out of court, the fans still backed FMJ. The fans lend power to the boxers. The fans did it in GGG's situation by allowing him to stand firm against 155. They won't lend their support to Canelo on 155 anymore.

There actually was never any need to explain all this to you because you're the hype man who knows everything there is to know about GGG. Keep trolling to keep the hype alive. I know all your dreams will come true!

      AHAHAHH

thanks for the english lesson professor

Now I know what the word " willing " means.

But the word I am really struggling with is " unwilling ".....

..... any chance you could explain that to me ?

You know, as-in..... Golovkin made those promises, but was then "unwilling" to back up his big mouth.

And btw, Canelo is not the only guy who lil'G was unwilling to fight..... so there are plenty of opportunities for you to provide an example of that definition in a structured sentence..... I would suggest that you start with Ward/Lara..... and work your way down to Canelo

Get with the program, because Andrade's not a prospect anymore and been calling Lara out since March. Andrade & his promoter are taking initiative and working with Showtime to try and make the fight. Lara & DeCubas haven't taken initiative in making a fight since Canelo.

Right now Andrade is trying to fight Lara. Let's see if Lara steps up or if he just continues to talk bs.
What Im talking about was recently so Idk wtf you talking about. Andrade priced himself out.

I'm talking about what was in the news last month, Andrade's promoter said he was meeting with Showtime to work out a deal to fight Lara, I didn't hear/see any results to that meeting. Lara hasn't said anything about Andrade this year. Now the WBA is offering Andrade a shot at the interim belt. We'll see if he takes that and becomes Lara's mando or if he waits for Jermell to beat Hately.

You completely ignored the entire narrative that I wrote, choosing only to specifically attack 1 part of it. You didn't take the whole thing as a whole. I clearly said that the situation allowed GGG to hold firm on 160. Of course you're going to ignore what I said. You're the hype man. If anything is presented that contradicts your trolling, of course you were going to ignore it. GGG had power over Canelo by being his mandatory. How about looking at it from the other side & realizing that Canelo was the one "unwilling" to budge despite using his "big mouth" to announce his desires regarding GGG. There's no reasoning with the hype man. Keeping hyping GGG there...everyone is rooting for you.

              Did you completely miss this?

Demetrius Andrade wants to have a world title around his waist before he goes on to fight the winner of a bout between World Boxing Council titleholder Jermell Charlo and Charles Hatley.

Last weekend, Demetrius Andrade (23-0, 16KOs) impressively stopped Willie Nelson in the 12th round at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in what was his televised debut on Showtime. So what's next for the former WBO junior middleweight belt-holder?

Andrade basically admitted he cant beat Lara n you still think wants to fight Lara lool, it's obviously they are using Lara name.

That youtube video of lara warning s andrade is all talk nothing but facts.
