      Check the thread title.
Dude... he got Kovalev the MAN of the division due on Nov , no reason to risk it , let both of them get pass their next fight with no cuts or injuries and have that MEGA FIGHT , i dont like Ward and would like to see him sparked , BUT he went stragiht to the king pin of the division which happens to be a real killer not a paper champ , he deserves credit and a money grab tuneup as a bribe for taking that fight and risk.

But will he actually fight Kovalev?

Remember the fight won't be in Oakland. Ward feels more secure with home advantage - he needs a crooked ref to permit him to foul.

He cant dodge the fight now , if he does he will pay a ton as a breach of contract , he will be banned from HBO and will probably retire from the sport all together , the fight is on , cant see a scenario in which Ward can get away from it.

Don't bother. Some just feel more important putting down certain fighters.

After today's news, this fight is needed more than ever. Boxing needs star fighters in competitive fights, not dragging fighters from 2 divisions below.

Actually you're going to use the same rhetoric after the Kovalev fight is officially announced. "Ward is still going to duck him!" I'm pretty sure you're hoping he won't fight Kovalev which is odd for anybody who claims to be a boxing fan.

                  Truly pathetic.

I don't mind the fight. I just don't believe it will happen this year like some are claiming. We're in the age of marinating. Some people are already giving Ward credit for something he hasn't done.

You know I'm a boxing fan. You're not one of the dumb ones. Look at my post history and see that I even criticized GGG for the Brook fight.

I can see through the bullshit that many boxers and their promoters are pulling. Ward happens to be one of them and people like you don't like it.
