and murray did very well against martinez. arguably won that fight in argentina. do you really want to go that rout ?

who does broner have other than demarco?
tought fight with paulie? on paulie's deathbed?
    the other carlos molina?
    emanuel taylor?
    gavin reese?
    alakhverdiev?
    theophane?

am i missing another run of the mill nobody?

to say that these guys distance themselves from lemieux, geale, murray, macklin, proksa, stevens, etc, is wrong. then you consider that broner fights smaller guys more often, relied on a catchweight against porter and still lost, got his ass kicked by marcos maidana, and that he wins much less convincingly than golovkin, who is on an 8 year, 20 fight knockout streak. yeah
Last time I checked Demarco and Broner fought just above 140 last time out with Demarco being way taller and longer.

Distance themselves ? No...Better? Yes. Should we talk about Proska and Kerry Hope? Lemieux and Alcine? Geale and Mundine? Macklin and all the people who stopped him?

You like GGG and want him to be better so you see things askew.

I said Murray deserved the win, Just that Martinez was already Martinez from the Cotto fight at that stage.

And yes, Broners run of the mill domination of Molina looks a lot better considering how Lucas and Provodnikov dealt with him.

    • Saunders, Eubanks, Canelo all ducked Golovkin. None of them is able to fight Golovkin in September. But Brook jumped at the chance. Golovkin likes to fight. He actually like, HAS fights. He doesn't take off. He doesn't go inactive.

Brook has said repeatedly that he's a huge WW, and wants to move up and take the big challenge. Golovkin gets to fight in England, which has better fans than anybody. He will expand his popularity.

Everybody wins with this fight. Eubanks had his chance. His dad protected him because he knows, like everyone else, that Golovkin would hurt him bad.

Haha wow, look at you trying to spin it. You said 'have I left anyone out". I said, "yes, his run of the mill domination of Molina". And then you pathetically attempted to make me look ****** shooting yourself in the foot in the process. You didn't leave out Carlos now did you?

Once again nice try on the spin but I'm pretty sure we both know Broner never fought at 154

i didn't realize that you were answering the question "have i left anybody out." it was mostly a rhetorical dig. i also left out the great jazon litzau and vincente escobedo.

when you started talking about molina, a name i mentioned that is as bad or worse than the golovkin contenders, ighting matthysse and provodnikov, i aseeumed you were talking about the wrong molina

and for the record, provodnikov is done. thta he made john molina look like larry holmes doesn't say much. molina wasn't even in the top 50 when that fight was signed.

but let me guess, that's a great win for broner?

Why would you assume I was talking about a fighter other than the Molina who has fought Broner,Lucas and Provdo...I'm calling bull*****

About as good a win as Willie Monroe and David Lemieux. That's the only point I've ever been making.

I'm wondering why hes said it to Kell instead of Degale though and that's not a dig, I wonder if it's about the loyalty thing Hearn always spouts about.

GGG shouldn't be blamed for cowards ducking him, but he should be blamed for contradicting himself over Kell and being so focused on unifying a division that has two interesting fights(BJS, Jacobs) that aren't about to happen anytime soon.
How do you know what Hearn said to Kell Brook on the phone?

Re DeGale, Hearn is supposedly working on a unification fight between Chunky and Badou Jack, in London, later this year.

Fighting Brook in the UK next will help GGG to unify 160. If the British fans like him, and they want to see more, that will make it possible to pay BJS the kind of money he wants.

i don't care what any of you people call . you'd feel the same way if somebody tried to tell you what fights you've seen

because i mentioned a molina [the guy i called "the ohter carlos molina] in my list, and you brought up the other other molina

as for john molina, he's a better fighter than monroe based on the lundy and provodnikov wins but he's not a better fighter than david lemieux.

for some perspective, prior to the provodnikov win [and provodnikov is a completely spent force, and liekly to retire,] molina jr was ranked in the 60's or 70's at 140.

he's not a better win than a top 5 middleweight in the world when he's coming off of two losses, the way he was when he fought broner.
