here's my take on steph curry
1. he doesn't defend well enough for playoff basketball from what i have seen. he can work on that, and i wouldn't be surprised if he's in the gym right now.

2. he was horribly overtrained. poor guy had a ton of pressure during the regular season. the NBA fanbase pisses me off, frankly. it's a, short term, bandwagon league, and a league where people are often fans of players, not teams; so short term accomplishments like a regular season record get more credit than they should. the same people who were calling steph curry one of the greatest players ever were probably the same people posting memes regarding him "choking." they pushed him to his physical limits during the regular season, and laughed at him when he had nothing left for the playoffs.

who gives a f#ck if you win a regular season record? it's the regular season. curry should have been getting rest in preparation for the playoffs. nobody was going to knock them out of the #1 seed and take home court from them.


i live in arguably the greatest professional sporting city on earth. we get it. we're *******s about it, but we f#cking get it. we consistently have championship level pro sports teams. we literally don't talk about the patriots undefeated regular season. that's a sad story, not a happy one. we talk about what a great game the giants played, say that a great team lost to another great team with a great playoff quarterback, but we don't consider the season a success because of a fleeting regular season accomplishment.


TLDR:
bandwagon nba fans are pathetic for pressuring curry to his limits during the regular season and then bailing on him when he had nothing left when it actually mattered. he's a great athlete, and he'll be back.

Why don't you make it clear which fighter you are referring to? Floyd and Pac are retired. The only big fights left are with Cotto and Canelo. Even then there's no such thing as big if it's not the right half of the fight. I don't consider a Golovkin fight big, unless he's fighting either Canelo or Cotto.

HUH? How is it Curry's fault the other players got hurt? That's still a legit title. Was the NBA supposed to postpone the playoffs until those players got healthy? Now when they win it next year that ain't a legit title.

What I mean is that the fight is as hot as it's going to be and further marinating will cause the fight to not be as exciting as it could have been. But i guess that's Canelo's plan, wait until GGG starts to slip.
