So Spence only wants to move up in weight for Canelo only. Is that cool?

Won't happen because of boxing politics but if an offer was made no doubt Canelo and GBP would jump at it.
They could dictate terms, Canelo would destroy Spence right now (in a few years who knows as Spence looks to be the real deal), and they could put an L on Haymon's future cash cow all at once.
    No downside there.

Man they just repeated that **** again a few weeks ago saying no fighter from 154-168 can go 12 rounds with GGG

Spence is big for a welterweight. I have no doubt he can easily make the Canelo weight division. At the end of the day it's really up to him.

At this point I'm more concerned about promotion/network issues. So far I haven't seen a fight co-promoted with Dela Hoya and Haymon people.

So these are useless discussions at this point. These Haymon fighters should stick with calling out their fellow Haymon fighters. It makes them look like clowns pretending to want fights knowing it won't happen anyways due to politics.

He only wants to fight Canelo at 154 probably because fighting Canelo might make him 3 or 4 times as much money as fighting most other 154 pounders would win or lose. I think Spence can beat all the welterweights but I think Canelo would probably beat Spence. I know many posters are pissed at Canelo for not fighting GGG. Trashing Canelo seems to be the in thing to do on here now. I don't think Canelo can beat GGG but I do think Canelo is a damn good fighter. I think Canelo can beat just about every other fighter except GGG from 160 on down. Maybe a couple of middleweights,Lara and Andrate would give Canelo a difficult fight and possible beat him but I'd make Canelo the favorite. Canelo can box, punch, and take a punch. He has fast hands and accurate, powerful combinations to the head and body. I think Canelo is too much for any welterweight right now. If there is a welterweight who could beat him I think it would be Spence.I think it would be a damn good fight between two aggressive, fast and skillful fighters. I hope it doesn't happen because they are both top favorites of mine and I don't want either of them losing a fight.

You are right. Oscar's back stabbing ex friend Schaefer help Haymon get fighters away from Oscar that Oscar thought were his fighters. Schaefer did this while he was still a top guy at Golden Boy. Oscar probably hates Haymon and doesn't want to work with him.

Why does Spence talk about moving up in weight and facing Canelo at all, is the question?
because he wants some money, who is sayn spence is being ducked its too early to say that

Spence is not the only Haymon fighter who mentions Canelo's name. There's Lara and just recently Jacobs. Again I have yet to see a single fight, post Schaefer, that's been co-promoted by Dela Hoya and Haymon's people.

I don't even know why these Haymon fighters are calling out someone they knew would entail all sorts of issues. Lara would rather fight Zaveck and Rodriguez rather than Williams, Andrade, Charlo brothers. Jacobs would rather rematch Mora.

Spence will have to wait and complete his 40 yr old mando obligation. He can then go for Brook, Thurman, Garcia, Porter, even Peterson, Broner. Lots and lots of choices. These Haymon fighters seem to make things complicated intentionally.
