Can drugs be stored in fat and released into the blood with weight loss?
    Src: https://www.quora.com/Can-drugs-be-s...th-weight-loss
Generally, lipophilic drugs and toxins can be stored in your fats and recirculated later, but whether or not they are stored in concentrations sufficient to cause you to notice their reintroduction can change from person to person and situation to situation. What degree of storage occurs, if any occurs at all, is more personal than generalizable.

Drugs from fat stores can cause positives on drug tests months after a person has stopped using, especially for common things like cannabis (THC, on tests). They can even be testing negative for weeks or months and then have a positive test pop up after losing weight or rebalancing their tissue ratios.

Now you're just being lazy fabricating "drugs" and generalizing.
THC is a drug. Meldonium is a drug. The article says MOST DRUGS and includes both natural and syntethic drugs as LSD. WTF is your logic now?

If he gets cleared the fight will happen. Wilder isn't going to vacate. The problem is there have been multiple athletes from Russia getting busted including Sharapova so that does not bode well for Povetkin. It has been in the news & on the internet of Russian secret service trying bully WADA to get them to let the Russian team compete. Well we all seen the result of that. One has to think that the WBC may decide to ban Povetkin & take him out of the rankings. There is no way to know until the final decision is made. It could go either way. At the end of the day Povetkin was taking a medicine used for people with heart issues that was later banned. Sure it wasn't illegal up until Jan 1 but he still looks like a cheater no matter how you look at it. How do you pass 3 then fail one? Nobody here is a doctor so everything you say is just heresay from what you read or hear. It will be all decided soon...

I really don't understand this little bandwagon argument thats appeared. Athletes of all colours, creeds and persuasions use all sorts of things to gain an advantage. If its legal, its fine. In fact, I think you'd be a little ****** not to use things for a legal competitive edge. You're acting as if the rest of the world aren't doing similar things, as if Eastern European fighters use Meldonium, everyone else uses nothing. Thats really naiive thinking.

Russian secret service bullying WADA? The same organisation that is currently destroying Russian athletics with sanctions, bans and monitoring due to public pressure. Dear lord... i'd say 'nice try' but its not even that.

If WADA say Povetkin is clear, then he didn't fail the test. We get to see the fight everyone wants to see, bar those who don't like Povetkin.

This article should put to rest any blame on Wilder. Povetkin has been cleared, let's hope this fight happens in 2016. Lawsuits against each fighter will be dropped in favor of making the fight. The only remaining lawsuit will be Povetkin vs the WBC, but I'm not even sure that will stick give the org was following its rules.

That was on the news. LOL! I would say most athletes do something to gain an advantage at some point. They just don't all get caught... I like Povetkin & I wanted him to end Wilder's reign but unfortunately he failed a test. If he didn't fail then they should not have postponed it... Here is one of many links to the story...

This situation reminds me of a witch hunt. Screw logic, screw common sense, screw attempting to use your head. Much easier to punish, who cares about guilt or innocence.

Glad to see the 16th century peasant mind set still exists today.

WADA issued a ruling which basically stated that any athlete found with less than one microgram of Meldonium in samples taken prior to October 1, 2016 will not be punished.
100% This fight is happening now. Povetkin was well under that.

Your link is an article highlighting WADA bullying Russia into not bullying independent testers... not WADA itself

No single state has the leverage to bully WADA. Theres questions surrounding the relationship between the IOC and WADA, but to suggest Russia is bullying WADA into anything is absurd.
