It's kind of irrelevant anyway though, because Jacobs isn't available now and Jnr is.
great post. but this guy SugarKaineHook will ignore, swerve and bring up more straw men to support his argument.

Exactly what I've been saying. The offer doesn't have to come from K2's side. Haymon will start the ball rolling if Jacobs want it.

6-8 months ago I might agree. But these days Haymon is like the alligator in the commercial that cant reach the check. Jacobs purse for the Mora fight will say a great deal about Jacobs true "value".....

Outside Canelo-GGG, there is no other PPV worth fight for GGG including Ward-GGG.

Now that Haymon is ok with his fighters appearing on HBO. there's no reason, in theory, why he and Dibella can't cooperate with K2 in funding and promoting GGG/Jacobs on HBO, like Roc and ME are proposing to do with Ward/Kovalev.

But in practice, it won't happen, because Haymon and DiBella know what some people at this site can't seem to get their heads around - Jacobs isn't worth the money he wants for fighting Golovkin, whereas Eubank Jnr is, because of his fame/notoriety in the UK.

The UK will have a sold out arena and big PPV numbers, Jacobs doesn't want to fight and certainly wouldn't be PPV.

If the same ratio were buying fights in USA as the UK, Canelo would be doing 3m+ PPV numbers.

A fight in the UK like Frampton v Quigg sold out a 21,000 seat arena + PPV, where as in the USA they can barely give free tickets away for title fights on PBC. Unless you're a really big name, you ain't doing those numbers in USA.

Also, ticket prices are higher and venues are sold out, so more gate money. In the USA, like Canelo v Kirkland they were selling tickets at like $10 or less for some seats just to fill it. Good luck getting a ticket for anywhere close to that price in the UK.

And the name Eubank is a household name in the UK, because of his dad of course but now everybody is aware of Jr. too. Jacobs is basically unknown outside of hardcore boxing fans, let's be real.

Hearn said himself he now has fighters and promoters contacting him to ask about coming to the UK to fight, they know that's where they can earn big money now.
              Good posts :ANYWORD:

Well said. I've read through these threads posted today and some people seem to think it's K2 stumping up Eubank's cash and asking why they're not stumping it up for Jacobs. I have no idea why they think that.

The kids are just being trolled guvnor and they eats the bait. I made a bet with another associate about the popularity between these two fights on different soils, and the associate is an NSB Champion!

I've already said countless times that Lil'G & Company should've been trying their best for the WBO and Saunders, but let me guess, the Gypsie doesn't have any pull with BoxNation or Warren either? Is Hearn betting that Lil'G loses and Eubank vs Saunders is the ultimate double digit milllion purse(s) unification bout in the UK?

I've never even rooted for a Jacobs vs Lil'G fight since K2 has nothing to gain from the WBA Regular aside from complications with PBC & HBO anyways. I've been wanting to see some Lil'G fight some Southpaw work like Korobov, Lee, or Saunders for more than a year, including Heiland, which I imagine could be as equivalent as Monroe Jr or better.

I don't see any industry heads wanting Jacobs UNLESS the context is to have Jacobs on Lil'G's resume, which is why I've asked who's the better boxer, Jacobs or Eubank Jr.?

The UK PPv with Eubanks n Ggg seems to be the better PPV event as the UK has shown a big appetite for big fights in the UK,, the UK PPv's seem to outsell american PPVs even though it's a much smaller population..

It's a poor reflection of boxing's standing in America when a great fight like ggg-jacobs will barely get any interest except from hardcore fans

I'd prefer to see GGG-Jacobs but GGG-Eubank generates much more revenue so the former is impossible to justify from that perspective
