Whoever believes Conyellow is fighting GGG in 2017 is a straight up fool. GBP and Oscar only said it to keep the public at bay. In 2017 when GGG can't make 160 anymore they'll ask for it and then say "see we wanted to face him at 160" blah blah blah

Probably but that kind of dooms Canelo because he will really never be able to clean up this mess. He needs to fight Golovkin as he is now, if he fights what is perceived as a lesser version then people will still talk about how he ducked the better version.

Not that he won't still be a big star but it would always be a red mark against him. So probably a better outcome for him and GBP than Canelo getting KTFO which would be really damaging to Canelo as a top end fighter.

Ward is fighting the Oracle Arena janitor with ringside seats costing less than your monthly electricity bill. For Ward to duck a much smaller fighter that would pay him 5 times what he would ever get on his own is a lot different than Canelo getting paid LESS than normal fighting a guy way bigger and stronger. You so-called Boxing fans need to get your afros out of your bungholes.
Ward and whoever he's fighting has absolutely nothing to do with alvared being scared of lil G

lol no it wont. GGG did around 150k, so you think canelo-smith will do 450k-600k? lol This will flop big time.

Agreed. This was a calculated duck, to say the least.

Everybody wants to big up Canelo's resume, but the risky fights he took were against guys that, worst case, would outbox and embarrass him.

Not the same as receiving a career-altering beatdown at the hands of a monster puncher (who could also box circles around him, btw).

You're talking to deaf ears...These Golovtards are butt hurt that their hero Lil G didn't get his big fight. It's sad really b/c Lil G could of gotten that "BIG" fight against Ward or even Lara put prefers to fight prospects like Wade, Monroe or Eubank instead. Unfortunately, these Golovtards see nothing wrong with a 35 yr old champ still fighting prospects at his age, so I doubt that will change anytime soon
No we are talking about Mr. tough guy "we don't f*** around Canelo "the punk" Alvarez lets not start the Lara Ward BS again. Come on admit your guy is a wussy and be done with it.

G would fight any of the MW top guys if they all didn't run from him.

on his biggest stage canelo ran his mouth and brought ggg in the ring and lied like a dog to his fans. A man is only as good as his word. Whether your are poor or rich, educated or uneducated, every man had one thing in common. His word. And canelo's counts for nothing. Nobody can dispute that. Even if you are his biggest fan.

Sure one opponent on murderers Rowe failed to come together, but Canelo replaced him with another one.

I agree, the fight will never happen.

That boat has sailed, just like Ward/Golovkin.

And to be honest, Golovkin's best opportunities sailed away on that boat

                    1) middleweight is dead
                    2) Golovkin said this..... " anyone from 154-168 "
                    3) Canelo and Ward are " from 154-168 "
                    4) Golovkin COULD have taken those fights, but he CHOSE not to

he didn't want it..... WTF ?

HBO have gotta stop paying these hype-jobs top money to fight scrubs, didn't they learn from Berto..... and they are doing the same thing with Ward..... sure he is fighting Kovalev next, but if Ward had to EARN that payday he would not be fighting Brand.

Hopefully his starpower is gone forever and his next fight flops hard.
