Whatever Canelo or GBP says about fighting GGG is meaningless until the former steps into the ring and fights the WBC champ.

The first fight in years in which Canelo's the underdog and he skips town like a snake oil salesman... and then soon after sets up shop in another town (Liam Smith). Stop the bleeding?? Get real.

It's remarkable that Golovkin didn't even have to land a punch to humiliate this guy into dropping the green belt. Dang.

Leonard came out of retirement after 3 years and fought Hagler. Some fighters don't want to move up a weight class and fight the guy who cleaned out a division, they want to fight the guys he beat. Or fight guys smaller than them.

Sure the GGG fight never worked out but it happens. Nobody is complaining though as Liam Smith is now ranked 9th p4p in the latest ring rankings. It is a huge challenge for Canelo. Sure one opponent on murderers Rowe failed to come together, but Canelo replaced him with another one.

This is just a tough situation. Canelo is the A-side, Golovkin is the P4P #1 fighter in the world. People just assume that since Ward ducked him Canelo is too. Canelo doesnt need Golovkin. Ward is fighting the Oracle Arena janitor with ringside seats costing less than your monthly electricity bill. For Ward to duck a much smaller fighter that would pay him 5 times what he would ever get on his own is a lot different than Canelo getting paid LESS than normal fighting a guy way bigger and stronger. You so-called Boxing fans need to get your afros out of your bungholes.

Don't forget...it was about the belt, guys. Wasn't about big money or anything like that, GGG wanted the belt because his main goal was to unify. So now what?

Even Espinoza is calling Canelo and GB chickens... This is looking more and more like a bad telonovelas!

Of course, glad the fans see that from a mile away and most are not falling for it at all.

Common sense, who the *** gives up a Belt to move Down 1 lbs only to move back up again his next fight? Make no sense at all! May 2018 sounds more realistic if GGG is lucky! When Canelo does move back up expect a couple of in house fights between Canelo vs Lemieux and Canelo vs Tureano Johnson

I think GBP signed both to eventually be stepping stones for Canelo

That fight didn't happen and won't happen in 2017 either. Way too much low hanging fruit for Oscar and Canelo. He handed over his belt, Golovkin made one tweet about it and moved the hell on. Everyone else should too.
