There is a lot of time between now and then and a lot can happen so an agreement like that is kind of meaningless.

Like what if Canelo loses his next two fights or Golovkin slips up neither guy wants to be tied down with a fight that could be nothing like it was when the agreement was signed.

Thats what team Canelo wants. GGG to lose so they dont have to fight him. Or age enough for Canelo to then finally take the fight.

Canelo and Oscar should show up at the Liam promotions wearing fishnets and drag. He doesn't have many fans left now. Sht Liam Smith might want to stay the hell away from this bad stink.

I don't think I've ever seen a Fighter crash and burn this fast and this bad EVER!!! He had the boxing WORLD in his palms and through it all away...SMH.

Canelo should have never brought GGG in the ring, saying in mexico we don't **** around, saying in the post-fight he'll fight Golovkin at 160 not a catchweight, etc etc etc.

You know, fans would probably give him respect if he went into the Cotto fight saying "hey guys, I'm not a middleweight and if I beat Cotto I'm just going to drop the belt and campaign at 154" but instead he made a deal with K2/Golovkin for an extension, fought Khan at 155 pounds for the middleweight belt even though Khan tried to fight him at a lower weight including 154 pounds but Canelo rejected it, saying 155/middleweight and then dropped the title once the final WBC mandatory kicked in. After all that damn talk in the ring after KOing chinny Khan too. That's what got fans pissed off, especially considering fans had to put up with 5 years of BS from Mayweather-Pacquiao.

EXACTLY!!! Everyone knows I used to be a HUGE CanYellow fan before he did this big Bi@tch move! I could of respected him if he just said NOPE not yet. I just want Cotto. Makes sense.I think they making this fight on ppv vs a nobody(sorry liam)as to see where canelo stands with the fans.If the fight flops it might force their hand,but im sure gb thinks it will sell regardless whom canelo fights.Amir khan we all knew was an underdog but I watched it at my friends house,this one vs liam,I wont break an appointment.I dont know anything about ppv numbers or how it works,but many people say ggg ppv numbers are very low,hence him being the B side,what will happen if canelo numbers are below 200k,will they do like espinoza where they refuse or play with the numbers as to avoid showing the real flop?

If he does over 150k buys I'll be shocked. Have you seen how bad he's getting BLASTED by fans and experts in the media. I wouldn't be surprised if ppl boo the sht out of him. Or even through sht at him when he's making his way to the arena.
