I have no idea how much money GGG makes. I have no interest in that aspect of boxing. I just like to watch good boxers fight. I think GGG is one hell of a fighter. Jacobs is a damn good fighter too. GGG appears to be the hardest puncher in boxing and no one has ever knocked him down or even badly staggered him. Jacobs has been KOed by Pirog and dropped by light punching Mora. GGG has KOed something like 16 fighters in a row which is pretty incredible. His haters will say he KOed a bunch of bums but that isn't true. He KOs guys like Lemieux and Murray and they are not bums. I think GGG's ruggedness and punching power would be too much for Jacobs to handle and he would be added to the long list of GGG's KO victims.

The explanation is simple enough and it has nothing to with money. Froch and Chavez are good fighters but they aren't aces. Ward and GGG are both aces. An ace can spot a good fighter 8 pounds without much risk. An ace would be foolish to risk spotting another ace 8 pounds.
