Geale, Lemieux, Adamu, Wade, Monroe. Only fanboys don't see the pattern. He's fighting the WEAKEST Boxers in the division.
Let's not twist things. Golovkin tried to fight Quillin, just made an offer to fight Jacobs, signed to fight Lee, tried to fight Cotto, and offered to fight Martinez in Argentina in place of Murray. Those guys all turned him down, you need to criticize those guys (well not Lee, but really you'd be criticizing Golovkin for having fought Lee if he did).

And how was Lemieux a weak boxer? He came off dominating N'Dam when most critics didn't even think he'd take that fight.

As inferior as Wade, Monroe, and Adamu were, they'd be top-level opponents for Chris in relation to O'Sullivan, Jeter, and Blackwell.

This sounds like BS from English to me. Sky PPV wont change their policies for absolutely no reason.

If the fight doesn't get made, I'm blaming English.

You've obviously never ran a business.

Go ahead and put up the money to set up a business, and then try telling your mortgage company or landlord, or the power company, phone company, etc, "hey sorry, had a slow month and had to pay myself first". Let me know how that works out for you.

And in boxing, the fighter gets paid what is on their bout contract even if the fight doesnt sell 1 ticket or 1 PPV buy. But by your logic, since Arum put up the money for Pac-Bradley 3 maybe he really didnt lose any money. Maybe he paid himself first lol

In every business I've ever had, I am the one who gets paid last. After all these years it seems Im doing it wrong lol

Why does money all of a sudden become a problem when fighting GGG? The Eubank's have fought several times on Skysports and know how they operate.

instead of sitting back, collecting belts he isnt fighting for and his team isnt willing to pay the top opponents decent money. Its no coincidence that the issue with K2 is always money. Im sure they are overestimating GGG $$$$ potential and viewership.
So if they are overestimating his worth how can they pay big money ? you are on K2 side ? the glaring issue is that fighters want a retirement money to get in the ring , maybe K2 problem was marketing GGG too much making other fighters believe he is bringing in hugh money and they want a piece , he isn't so they can't make Floyd kind of money thats life in MW currently , BUT if Eubank beats GGG he gets a raise from that day onwards on ALL his fights he becomes a global figure in a day , but no one wants the risk cuz they are afraid.

GGG is not some machine...he isnt even the scariest middleweight I've seen....Nigel Benn and Gerald McClellan had more devastating knockouts, so did Julian Jackson. GGG is as much hype as he has talent. He isnt very proven. He beat 3 titlist his entire career.......He is supposedly top 3 p4p....so a win over Martin Murray and Geale are that impressive?

Wanna talk about avoided...Hagler didnt get a title shot til his 50 something fight whereas, GGG has literally been handed 2 belts.

Not only that, these guys are pro fighters and deserve a decent payday. Its disrespectful as crap for you to assume these guys are afraid of him. Why are they afraid? He hasnt beat anyone special....he is knocking out no names and the occasional contender like Lemieux, who himself lost to to non-elite guys.

Its funny how Eubank's was the proverbial shh coming out of the UK until he fought BJS and yet the same people who might've still been kissing his @rse last week are now calling it a bad fight simply because of who he is fighting.

How you going to talk Golovkin isn't proven but say McClellan was? I'm not saying he's wasn't but McCllelan only had two major wins and they were both over Julian Jackson, who was smallish for MW and chinny. His next biggest win was Mugabi who was notoriously overrated. G-Man was fun to watch, but his list of accomplishments was pretty thin (to which I blame Don King).

And you try to belittle Golovkin for being 'handed' belts, when the only reason for doing so is b/c the other guys refused to face him. The sport works different today than it did for Hagler & Monzon. There's more belts and bigger paydays, so guys don't have to fight people like Golovkin.

If Monzon & Hagler were fighting in this era, they'd be going threw the same **** Golovkin is. Neither would be any bigger a draw as Golovkin, and both would be feared by other fighters and continually ducked just like Golovkin.
