This type of crap is what's ruining boxing and what's helping the UFC. The best are supposed to fight the best (that's what we're getting tonight with Thurman vs Porter), not duck them just for a bigger payday later on down the road when one of the competitors will be a lot older.

I feel like Floyd sides with (seemingly) all things Canelo for reasons beyond him agreeing with what Canelo is actually doing. Maybe he thinks he can sign him to Mayweather Promotions or something at some point cuz I've seen him backing up Canelo a few times with things like this that 99% of the boxing world is against, but Floyd is like "go Canelo" about.

He is right. He just wants GGG to get old where he isn't a threat. Then he can fight him and say I beat the best at their best. It's the mayweather school of bidniss
Highest reward least risk. Floyd built a career out of it post de la Hoya, and he made a killer amount of money too. What fighters don't understand is that love it or not Floyd was special and his antics were Ali-esque. Not just anyone can pull that off

Its the right thing for the fighter, yea if im Nelo ill test the waters wait for GGG to get older let the fight get even bigger, but Nelo said he would fight him next, its clear that GBP steered him away but Nelo should demand the fight next, the way Nelo said he fight him that same night
This business crap is whats killing boxing, Floyd Mayweather has made it clear on this video that most of his career was cherry picked, i think theres no question of why he retire back when the division was the hottest, props to Floyd doing great for himself, but it seems like he ruined boxing lol
