I'd enjoy watching Pacquiao put a beating on him

When you see a fighter with so much talent lose a fight or fights because of simple siht or showboating when he should be focused I lose confidence in that fighter showing up for the big moment. Broner has done this twice. I think we can agree he should have beat porter and chino. But because of his performance in these two fights I question which AB will show up in his next big fight. For this reason I give Manny the nod .
      FACTS

I can't rely on Broner being at his best because he's proven to not take the big fights serious

Pratice player, OK, but against who?

Show me sparring where he compete Floyd, Manny, Danny or Mickey Garcia and MAYBE I will admit he can be elite in the gym.
And even, sparring doesn't mean sht, great fighters use sparring to perfect their game, not to win the rounds.
if it's agaisnt Stever Forbes or some mexicans face first sluggers..I won't buy it.

The problem with Broner is he can't compete with the elite because he's not serious enough and thinks too much of himself.

Boxing is 90% in the head, and Broner doesn't seem to be smart enough to be part of the creme de la creme.

I wish I was wrong because the more elite guys we have in the sport, the more happy I am (mostly if they face each other, anotther debate...)
That's why I say he's a practice player because what he does in sparring does not carry over to fight night. Like you stated sparring is to perfect their game. I feel he's done that but when the bell rings on fight night he forgets it all and tries to put on a show and be flashy with leaning back to avoid getting hit. Chin all the way up in the air. He knows what to do and is capable of doing it but for some reason he flops when he's expected to shine. With Manny Floyd Porter Thurman Garcia Peterson and just about every other WW you know Exactly what you're gonna get from them on fight night. With Broner you don't IMO

If I managed fighters I wouldn't let my guys anywhere near a fighter from Argentina.
I agree, but doesn't mean he would land it on Pac.

Pac is most akward and defensive than what people think.

Ask Floyd, he landed "only" 34% of his punches on Manny.
And compubox was quite generous with Floyd for that fight.

Floyd landed 54% in the first Maidana fight, and 46% on Alvarez.

Pac made Floyd miss quite a lot, at least more than usual.

I only remember Cotto making Floyd miss more because Cotto took away Floyd's jab.

Give Broner a bunch of recently beaten and drained fighters and he'll do what Pac did, even better.
What if Broner take them lightly?

Cotto at 145 would obliterate Broner.
