Broner has done this twice. I think we can agree he should have beat porter and chino. But because of his performance in these two fights I question which AB will show up in his next big fight. For this reason I give Manny the nod .
    Based on what?

He lost all the rounds vs Chino, and first of all those 2 guys were too big for Broner.

Porter is a big fella, Maidana rehydrated to 165 pounds (superMW).

Broner didn't has the tools to beat Maidana, simply starting with power and strenght to earn Maidana respect, Chino ***** slapped him.

To Broner credit, he was damn tough and showed a lot of heart, cuz it was a rough ass beating, but he should remain to 140.

To beat bigger guys, you need to be perfect cuz you will pay hard any mistakes. Broner game is flawed and even an experienced guy like Malignaggi exposed those flaws, almost beat him, and we all know how Paulie came up short vs the elite (Cotto, Garcia, Hatton, Kahn).

Broner trying hard to make us think he has Floyd's talent mimicking him, but talent doesn't mean sht, Floyd's main talent has been hard working and dedicate his whole like to the sport, Floyd wasn't born shoulder rolling, that's something serious you has to learn and work on.

Broner has no business at 147 unless he becomes close to perfection like Floyd. Broner should find his whole own style, and should try to reach perfection instead of wanting to reach (copy) Floyd's style and nuts behaviour

The guy needs to call it a day, has been in X wars, I ean, the Cotto and Margarito fight hurt the guy, Marquez puts a final finality on him.

This guy is over the hill, money Wise I could understand a Floyd fight on the fall, but Broner, unless Pac is broke or trying to prepare a Floyd 2 fight, why??
because the guy has plans to become president.

      winning elections mean spending money.

especially in third world nations where they LITERALLY buy votes.

He doesnt jab..he uses a left hook instead..that sweeping left he throws RARELY lands..but he keeps throwing it.

It has like a 3000 to 1 contact ratio.

Porter was the only guy that got caught with it in five years
If Broner would set that punch up with a jab he'd look like the 2nd coming.

People would be shocked at how athletic this guy is..I saw him do a sideways corkscrew flip running down the court in a basketball game.

He can also glide around the ring ease...does he do it...nope...he slides in behind the SAME stance over and over,

Broner doesn't give you different looks like Floyd does.
You see all of his abilities in sparring footage but it's absent on fight night he's talented and no one can take that away from him. If you take the AB that fought Molina and put him in with porter its an easy victory. I think if he fought to win regardless of how it looked he could get close to fmj status. I say forget the flash and the crowd just get the win.

Broner moved up and tried to fight Maidana like he did all those lightweights.

What would Pac look like against Maidana?

          Face down again that's what.
Marcos throws blind alley right hands that would make JMM blush

            Yep

He's a guy you can't tell anything...stubborn as an old billie goat.

If he'd just jab and show some variety he'd be a beast.

You asked based on what and answered your own question. If AB stopped trying to be an fmj clone and utilized his God given abilties. He took porter an chino lightly. I really don't believe their size made a difference. If he boxes and stops playing to the crowd both of those fight would have been different IMO. You can't ko or walk everybody down

The question is more wich Manny will show up.
Cuz if Manny is game, you can bring 3 Broners, not mater wich on shows ups, bring them all!

You guys talking about a guy who almost lost to Paulie and won't be competitive (let alone beating) with any elite fighter at 147.

I just wonder how Manny is motivated with boxing right now, especially fighting Broner.

Broner is just a limited fighter skill wise, he's flashy and but he lacks Fundamentals and technics, Manny himself is a much more polished and serious fighter.

A game Manny just beat Broner from pilar to post.
His defense is just too flawed, he would eat those shots and would not handle the pace.
He doesn't have Floyd's border line tricks to slow down Manny's pace.

Maidana and JMM fights Nothing a like.
JMM lures you into different traps.
Maidana is a coming forward stalker using dirty tricks, he likes to have the first word.

Maidana does well against low work rate fighter.

Styles make fights, Maidana hates speed, quick combos and to fight at a high pace, remember the Kahn fight, and yes, I think Manny is not a good style for Marcos.

Hell, Maidana vs Manny would have been a helluva fight, cuz based on his size and power, Chino could hurt and stop lil Manny.
