You want to see GGG in multiple legacy fights? Against who? Who are all these legacy fighters around MW that he is missing the boat on. There are 2 as far as I can see - Ward has moved on and Canelo is a coward. All the rest of the fighters are still in the process of making their legacy - as is Golovkin in reality because boxing is in such a parlous state that the hype gets way ahead of the reality.

That same old story in any GGG thread.... Let me ask you something: whenever you feel the urge to write "who has GGG fought?" or see somebody else writing "he has not fought anybody" - type a reflex sentence: "give 3 names you want GGG to fight against that k2 did not try to get in the ring". When some **** like Lara or Ward comes up - u just blacklist the idiot. When Canelo/BJS comes up you advise the person to review the recent boxing history. Well, if Kovalev/Klitchko comes up - I really don't know what to say. =)
Me - I can give you three signature championship wins by GGG: Sturm, Lemiux and Canelo. The two wins against Sturm and Canelo were without ring bouts, and the manner of the win over Lemiux is the reason why there were no bouts. If today boxing is so much **** that a young fighter can give up the belt for no medical reason (known of I should say...) and you still consider her a boxing star worthy fighting against - well, you've got to admit wins without bouts are still wins.Last edited by Vitar; 06-23-2016, 08:13 AM.Comment

Look, when Lara was about to fight Vanes, when Brook was about to fight Bizier, when Eubank is about to fight Dorans, .... they are all ready to fight Golovkin. After the fight - nada. Crickets.
The only one who showed interest in fighting Golovkin after the fight was Canelo - and we saw how that turned out.
So I don't take Lara's interest seriously - if he came out right NOW ... that is before the Eubank fight gets signed for and said he wants the fight for this September then I'd be more inclined to give him some credit. Same with the Eubanks - if they or Hearn are pushing for the fight next Tuesday or Wednesday then they need to be taken seriously.
If Lara was a true MW or SMW he'd probably cruise to a boring points win over Gov. but he is too small and chinny to survive 12 rounds.Comment

Are you daft? Kim is a huge Tom Loeffler supporter. I just accused him of wasting a potential hall of fame career, something no boxing promoter can ever make up for. He will go down in boxing history as a failure who contributed to the decline of boxing. How is that anything like what Steve Kim says about Loeffler?
It's almost... like... you didn't... read... my comment...... before you... commented..... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... almost.......Comment

How about this? How about GGG's promoter calls Lara or Al Haymon and make Lara an offer? I mean, that is Loeffler's job. Loeffler has talked to Eubank Jr.'s people several times already. Obviously they feel that a fight with Eubank Jr. is a better option. Many will disagree. It is better financially, but it does nothing for GGG's legacy. I say, if no Lara, go up and snatch a title @ 168!
Let me educate you kid a bit: if u r a promoter and a contender to your champion fighter is demanding a bout via his promoter, which contacts you and starts negotiations - that is called "a boxing bout brewing". If you see a tweet "I WANNA FIGHT YOU!!! LET'S GO CHAMP!!!" It's called "school level promotion **** talking".Comment

The problem with your argument is that you only rely on K2's word. If K2 can't get GGG any fights, then maybe, just maybe, K2 is the problem! As of today, the only 3 fighters I see actually wanting to fight GGG, THIS YEAR, are Lara, "Zurdo" Ramirez, and Eubank Jr. If I'm K2, I make offers to fight those fighters, in that order.
1. A boxing champion with three belts (well, four actually) who does not wish to BUY another belt just because another "champ" is not fighting, only selling that last belt, can actually be called the undisputed.
2. The undisputed champion overpaying other fighters to give them a chance at his four(read five) belts is a moronic attitude. Calling them to ask them to fight is moronic loser attitude. Obviously Tom Loeffler is not a moron. If a fighter/his promoter is not calling you to get a bout with your undisputed champion - that means they don't want to fight you.
You ask a very good question "what's next for GGG?" I do really want to know that too: now that he achieved his goals at 160, what would be the next step?Comment

Why would Loeffler call Lara? Just to shut you the **** up? I can wholeheartedly assure you Tom has better things to do. And could care less about your brainless web trolling.

No promoter/fighter argues K2 word - why would I? K2 promised to make GGG a boxing star in 3-4 years - they did it. Maybe, it's your problem that you can't acknowledge that? You should understand that your (and of many) arguement "GGG has to prove himself" is obsolete. WBC 160 lineal champ gave up his belt without a fight. I'm a sucker at boxing history, please tell me - has anyone ever achieved that? While you scratching your head for the info, please try to comprehend very simple things:
1. A boxing champion with three belts (well, four actually) who does not wish to BUY another belt just because another "champ" is not fighting, only selling that last belt, can actually be called the undisputed.

"No fighter/promoter argues K2 word..." You mean no fighter or promoter other than Ward and Roc Nation. According to Ward and Roc Nation, GGG could've fought Lemieux, and Ward would fight one tune-up, and GGG vs. Ward would've taken place earlier this year. K2 decided to pursue Canelo or Cotto instead. How did that work out for GGG? What would Marvin Hagler be without the Hearns, Duran, and Sugar Ray Leonard fights? He would be GGG!
1. How many tune-ups does it take for Ward to start fighting top-10?
2. How many days before the bout does a Ward tune-up opponent get signed contract confirming that he is a Ward tune-up opponent?
3. How many Ward opponents did you guess right in the last 4 years not later than 4 months prior to Ward bout - that actually happened?
...and I will just completely ignore you from now on.Comment
