I feel as if Andy is a vein of untapped potential.

As in he chooses eating food over tapping into his true potential.

Thought Ruiz was fighting Zuri Lawrence for a second.

Franklin did that Kelvin Price thing where he just sat there for ages with a pretty record looking like somebody. Price eventually stepped up at least, idk what the hell Franklins been doing.

Once he steps up in competition IMO he will lose.

Has great skills and hopefully does not waste them and keep active until he has a great fight lined up.

Are they going to wait until he gets it all together? mentally and physically?
When did this ever successfully happen?
He either has what it got or not, so they should just give him a decent opponent.

A class C+ guy who is ery ordinary and the only two times he's stepped up he's gotten beat ...when is Ruiz ever going to fight a contender or someone ranked in the
                top 10 ??probably never....

If Ruiz was in shape he'd be fighting at cruiserweight and getting beaten up by fighters with unpronounceable names from Africa and the Eastern Bloc.

That said, Lawrence is not a bad opponent for Ruiz. He's a tough fringe contender who's been in with some good opponents. He has been very inactive over the last several years though
You are right. The first fight was from March. He was scheduled to fight some Woods guy with a losing record last Saturday. I guess the fight never happened...He had a good run of opponents a few years back. Decent wins over Gavern, Whitaker, Firtha, Estrada. He had a draw with Ahunanya but lost to Stiverne & McCall. The guy had something to work with. All those guys were decent journeymen at the time when he beat them. At 40 what does he have left? He probably could of used a few more fights before getting in with Ruiz so I suspect he will be a punching bag.
