So what if Bute wasn't considered better than Froch or Ward? That still makes Bute a ranked fighter...ranked high enough to be worth defeating to prove one's dominance in the weight class. Repeating the result of a fight isn't going to excuse this.

FACT: Ward outclassed Froch, and he did it with a broken hand

FACT: Froch outclassed and DESTROYED Bute


Again, Bute was exposed the very FIRST time he ever stepped up to face world-class opposition..... and he didn't just get outclassed, he got DESTROYED!

The point is, he was NEVER in that fight..... he was never comfortable, he never settled, and Froch hurt him with EVERYTHING he threw.

Bute looked outclassed and vulnerable right from the first bell.

Froch hurt Bute just by looking at him

There is NOTHING to suggest that Bute could live with the much classier, much more skilled, Andre Ward..... they are levels apart, Bute's style was not going to help him against an operator at Ward's level, especially considering Wards spoiling style and superior skill-set.
