I think Thurman pops Porter's respect early and mostly keeps that from happening. He's a pretty sharp counter puncher. If he doesn't though, it could be an ugly fight with a lot of clinching.
No way. Porter is a tough boxer. To keep him down Thurman's going to have to nail him to the floor. Whereas with Keith I can see Porter stopping him with a 5 punch combination.

Just remember that skills pay the bills. Porter is just too crude and raw for the refined, polished and scientific boxing skills of one Keith Thurman.

The only chance I will give Shawn is if Keith is static and stationary without utilizing a lot of lower body movement and clinching as was in the case, in the Malignaggi's and Broner's bouts, however Thurman can hit also just like Kell Brook; Who appeared to have rocked the Akron Ohioan several times in their previous bout.

Thurman hits way harder than Kell friggin' Brook.

Furthermore, Porter is just too slow. He is willing to eat three punches to the head just so he can land one. This bout could be very reminiscent of the Ali-Frazier trilogy; Where one fighter is backing up and the other coming forward catching a minimum of three or four combination punches at a time in the process.

I have not seen Porter really land consistently in his fights. Unless he lands that one big punch similar to what he landed against Paulie, Thurman will just box him off and probably stop him late.

Yes indeed. I agree. I just don't see Shawn winning this fight with his primitive boxing skills. Well at least to me on paper, this fight appears to be a total mismatch in favor of Thurman.

Thurman is over due for a spectacular KO.

                  You're a moron.

Brook is a tough mofo; Thurman has a flimsy body and unsteady chin. Porter is going to ravage him like the classless ****** thug Broner did to old women in the bank parking lot.

Thurman want distance. So did Broner. Porter's answer: Fk your distance. I'll bull rush aimlessly and hope my punches land on your face until we clinch. Rinse and repeat. Look at how he rushes to close in on Broner even before the ref had finished breaking them.

                      Great, nuanced observation.
