I've heard that his training was altered because of the accident and probably didn't get a good amount of sparring rounds in.

I don't like making excuses for fighters but this might be a legit one.

If he is dominated by Porter, Thurman stands a really good chance of becoming Amir Khan's next opponent. Like numerous other fighters in boxing today (including Thurman), Khan likes to fight guys who recently lost, were exposed and/or may not be at their best.

I thought Porter could give him all kinds of problems but closer to fight night it gets I cant see past Thurman.
