yes I did and I stand by it. more proof of it is wilder fighting aereola which is the only type guy he wants to fight. if you believe holyfield was not juiced you are either blind ******ed or just like to give the false illusion that you are smartComment

The guy was a cruiserweight who fought a toe to toe style with guys 30-40lb bigger than him naturally
I think he done "alright" consideringComment

You scored the second Holyfield-Bowe II fight "for Holyfield easily"?It's been a while but I remember scoring the fight for Holyfield easily. I remember a lot of fantastic footwork, counter punching, even counter punching in combinations and he hurt Rid**** badly at one point. But most importantly he stopped slugging with Bowe which is what cost him the first and third fights.
Everyone believes Holyfield was at his peak in the first fight but he lost that one very clearly. He won the second fight clearly according to most, so the whole "Holy was never the same after Bowe 1" does not hold up at all.
But still, he took a lot of damage against a much bigger man and that is what made Evander decline. Sometimes it only takes one war to take its toll on you. This should be obvious, I don't know why you're so confused about that.Comment

Holyfield beat Tyson twice, while being an underdog. He beat Bowe who outweighed him and was taller with a longer reach. He held the legitimate heavyweight title on 3 occasions, only Ali has accomplished such a feat. He also holds wins over almost every legit contender of the day.I'm not talking simply about muscles. He had a near perfect boxing stance, he had an excellent jab, great body work, the whole nine. Yet incapable of stopping even the lowest of opposition.
So...what makes him great? The fact that he fought nearly everyone? I credit that. But he lost against almost all of them.
Are we then saying that anyone who fights everyone is automatically "great" despite losing? Because by that theory, John Ruiz should be an ATG.
Holyfield is an ATG heavyweight, top 5 for sure if not higher. That's not even factoring in his stunning work at cruiser.Comment

I think Holyfield was too inconsistent to be considered top 5...he beat post-prison Tyson twice, but his results against some other fighters weren't as good: Bowe (1-2), Lewis (0-1-1), Moorer (1-1), Ruiz (1-1-1).Holyfield beat Tyson twice, while being an underdog. Quoting me from last week? Ug, go find a friend.
I've never, ever said Holyfield didn't juice but if you're THAT desperate to try to find ways to attack me, sure, I'll play along and pretend I thought that so that you can feel you were right once in your life.Comment

Don't worry, the guy on his sig is also a cheat that used Victor Conte's services.

I'm not worried but thanks anyways mang. I'm here to educate the forum. If that makes a person, that's not my problem. People are very naive if they think the guys in boxing and every other sport don't use performance enhancing drugsComment

Some do but clearly not everyone is a drug cheat, it's pretty naive to think everyone is juicing and it's not fair to all the athletes that don't take illegal stuff to accuse them of cheating. If Holyfield was juicing doesn't mean that someone like Lennox Lewis was also on steroids.
BTW...since everyone is doing it are you saying the man in your avatar (Ward) is a cheater?Comment
