ive grown impatient...its 2016....people bring saying the same thing since 2013

    1)they are ducking
2)he wants to unify the belts

whats the point of unifying the belts when you arent even fighting for the belts?

their comes a point when his team has to take some responsibilty for how slow he is being moved and the way the negotiate, and the opponents they chose.

He is becoming an A side...his team sends the offers...not the other way around

dude has sponsers, hbo bigs him up like an ATG, endorsements, lofty p4p placement...now its go time...proof you are the monster they say you are.

take a risk instead depending on the "he the most avoided" excuse to ride when we all know his team plays the risk vs reward game like every other promo that wants to cash in on an investment

he isnt exactly calling anyone out.....he can also move up, thats an option but it seems his team is happy fighting no names mandatories and build this aura instead of his fighting the best...just my two cents

good fighter just want to see him fight elite fighters now....its been 3 years....he fights at 160....there are a few guys from 154-168 that would fight him but his team have not sent offers or something is going on.

So offering to fight Martinez, Cotto, Canelo, Froch , and Ward isn't taking risks? It's his fault those boxers lack testicles?

He might have not called anyone out but its clear he wanted the lineal middleweight champion, but he ducked. Jacobs went running to get a fight so GGG wouldn't consider him, Saunders doesn't want it, and Eubank Jr doesn't either.

Who is he supposed to fight? Lara? If you cant see that a fighter like angulo, that lacks the jab, punch selection, ring Iq, ability to cut of the ring and power that GGG has almost had him out of there then you sir no very little about boxing.

As for the 168 talk, I just dont see it. I know Abel likes to run his ****** mouth but I don't think GGG has the frame to do well in that division. Of course if you want to see him lose that bad then I can see where your coming from.

He was an unknown fighter when Martinez was champ and thats when all the he ducking stuff started

its partially his teams fault for not finding him better opposition just like everyone else.

ok....lets eliminate Canelo, Jacobs, Cotto is not in the picture, Saunders, and Honestly i think eubank is too green and needs a win over a lemmie or Lee type before stepping up to GGG

154-168 is a weight range where guys usually meet each other weather they were a division a part for some time.

GGG has the strength and power to move up

That leaves guys like Degale, Jack, Zurda, he can fight the guy he was supposed to fight before Wade got the call, Lara is a better fighter and has a higher profile than guys he's fought lately, Hassan N'Dam has heart is fun to watch and he isnt known to duck anyone, Andy lee is still a top ten middleweight, a pro rematch with dirrell would be interesting contrast of styles, the guy has options

his team just want to go about moving him a certain way...thats fine but im tired of the excuses

I've been a boxing fan my whole life and this "most feared " crap tag has been thrown on fighters and most time its fighters who havent fought anyone worth a damn, meaning elite fighters.

I like how Lil'G fans bring up Martinez. What interest or benefit would Martinez have wanted or needed from a promoted WBA "champ" or an IBO belt? At the very least Lil'G would've have needed the WBC Interim a year before fighting Rubio or Cotto out of the mix for industry to have made noise for Martinez vs Lil'G. Meaning 2013 Lil'G should've had the WBC Interim to have caused pressure towards Martinez and the hopes for a mandatory. It's not Martinez's fault for Lil'Gs WBC ranking at the time.

But it's easier for casual fans to say Martinez ducked.

golovkin went 300+ and 5 in the amateurs, from what the records indicate / what i can gather.

              won the amateur worlds
won a silver in the olympics. and the kid doesn't have a style suited for the amateur point system that was used during his amateur career.

wins in the ams over bute
              despaigne
              dirrell
              geale
              korovov
              lee

those are a who's who at his weight during the amateurs. he beat them all, some several times, and some via knockout.

so his style as a knockout punher and a life taker has a fundamental base of experience and technique that matthysse never had. some people can see that golovkin is a highly polished puncher. some people just think he slugs. the guys who think he just slugs are wrong. he has a great jab. he has power with every punch he throws, and it's not just because he's freakishly strong. he has tgreat balance. he has great technique. he judges distance as well as any MW since hopkins, a f#cking legend.

matthysse was more than just a pure ****er himself. had a nice offense when he put his shots together, and he had an OK jab and could box a bit. but he doesn't ahve the craft of golovkin, and if you can't see that, then you need to head to youtube and watch more boxing.

and while i thought the alexander fight was a robbery, the judah fight was pretty damn close. golovkin has knocked the aging zab judah's of the world into next week, and quickly.

Its funny how people try to rewrite history...around 2012-13 GGG only fought 2 legit contenders...Proska and Macklin...was highly unknown and Cotto made $$$$...he was cashing out

How can you duck someone who just hit the world scene and is highly unknown in your hemisphere?

He has an educated jab, many different looks to it. Breadman has broken it down nicely a few times before too.

Lucas has definitely fought better competition. It's hard to dispute that. He also lost to Garcia, Judah, and obviously Postol. I don't credit the Alexander fight as a loss. He won that one to me, and it was a bull**** 10 round fight that he would have dominated the championship rounds in.

That being said GGG hasn't even come close to losing. He shows more ability to win against different styles. He jabbed the **** out of Lemieux. He walked most of the other down. He technically looks more fluid with his shots. He's a better fighter.

168 isn't an option unless you really want to see him lose. Look at the guys frame and weight before you say such nonsense. And you don't fool me saying you're a boxing fan. You're biased to certain fighters particularly those of African American descent. It's written all over your biased posts and the fact that you can't see how GGG is better than Matthysse.
