Golovkin displays far more skill and beats similar opposition in far more impressive fashion. He's yet to fight the kind of competition Matthysse has, but what similar level opponents they have, Golovkin is performing much better.

As big a fan of Lucas as I am, he was never the fighter Golovkin is.

GGG is a much better boxer. Also as high as Lucas was ranked he was not in anyones top 10 p4p. Most people have GGG in top 5.
