Bottom line is - there's a good chance AJ isn't ready for elite fights. So it makes sense to milk every dollar out of his fans while his hype train is still on the tracks.

Hearn has a long master plan layed out for Joshua. Beat Breazeale, then fight someone like Stiverne, Price or Molina in the fall with Parker fighting on the undercard against someone like Cornish or ***ton to get some UK exposure. Then a Parker fight in the spring of 17 to fulfill the mando. After that, as long as Joshua has come through unscathed and has looked up to it, I suspect the next fight to be against Fury/Wilder/Haye either in Vegas or Wembley depending on the opponent.

Haye would be the one (if any) as he's come out of retirement and is now considerably slower after gaining loads of mass. Even then Haye would give AJ plenty of trouble. I think that Price that will be the biggest name he'll face in the next 2 years, and he should decimate Price. To be honest a fight I would really really like to see is AJ vs Hughie Fury.
Perhaps. I hope you are wrong though. Joshua seems to be someone that wants to fight the best, so I would think he would push for a really big fight when the time is right. Hopefully the prospect of a mega-fight with one of those guys is enough. While Haye is chasing the fight the hardest, I think Wilder is the most likely. Take it to Vegas where you can really make Joshua a worldwide star in a big unification fight. Easy to do with both guys fighting on Showtime and it could really invigorate Americans interest in heavyweight boxing again. You could argue that if Wilder and Joshua keep winning and that if they play their cards right, that fight could be the most anticipated heavyweight fight in the US since Lewis/Tyson.

Don't make me list 10 heavyweights with better upper body movement, better foot speed, and better defence please. The only thing he has is good timing and power and that comes from planting your feet.
Ok so you bet in boxing do you....how much you wanna wager with me that Joshua takes care of fury ? ....I've Been waiting around for somebody like you to pop up.....I also quite regularly bet on boxing and get more than get my predictions right .....as what I have always said Haye is the only one I think that has the tools to be Joshua now....lets have a wager on fury vs Joshua ...stake £500 ? ......you forgot to mention Joshua has also quick hands and a great finisher and the most all round power in the division .....I've seen enough of the others fight to know none of them are reincarnations of Ali lol

If you read the comment I posted I said all Joshua has going for him is power and timing. Even if he had very fast hands, as did haye (pre-comeback), it's no good if you can't get in range. You saw Haye vs Klitschko. Joshua would be even worse because his footwork and foot speed is nowhere near Haye's level.
For a start joshua will be in range.....there's 2 inches reach difference between fury and joshua so don't make it sound like joshua is built like povetkin, he's 6ft 61/2 and 246lbs of solid mass...now fury has been dropped and tagged numerous times by fighters a lot less gifted than joshua...Chisora ,abell, cunningham...fury throws half hearted jabs and fughts erratic...let him do that with joshua and then joshua will time him and then knock him out and fury getting dropped by cunningham or getting hurt by abell will seem like a welterweight has hit him compared with joshua.....me doing a runner I don't think so...ur UK based arnt you ? I'll meet u for it or what ever is the best way....joshua beats fury.wilder, parker and the only fighter who I think can cause an upset with Joshua is haye..because he fights low Has quick hands and world class timing..u seem to have this confidence of fury beating joshua well I'm saying back it up....fury don't go past 9 rounds with Joshua and Ill wager with you..no probs

Let's have a little prediction here in this forum then. What's your call on Postol/Crawford?
Crawford all day long.....better all round boxing skills and can vary his attack , I wasn't to Impressed with postols victory over lucas mattysse simply because mattysee is a very limited boxer..crawford on the other hand is highly skilled boxer puncher who I think will just get better and better...crawford by decision or late stoppage

If however you're saying Haye is talented but his resume at HW doesn't match his talents, in terms of what he's capable of, then you're being fair.
Personally I see it a a mixture of talent + who they've shown that talent against. Haye is looking good vs guys he's supposed to look good against. And he's largely only fought guys he's supposed to look good against at HW. We see that all the time in prospects on the way up. 10-0 guys look amazing vs some 5-7-1 guys with 5 KO L's. Then when he gets in with some other prospect he gets disconnected from his senses. I mean lets look at his full HW resume...its not long.

                  2008 Monte Barrett (37yrs, loss 3 of his last 6 fights) KO5
                  1yr off
                  2009 Nikolay Valuev (36yrs, largely manufactured record) W12 (8-4 x2, 6-6)
                  2010 John Ruiz (38yrs, loss 3 of his last 6 fights) KO9
                  7mos off
2010 Audley Harrison (39yrs, need I say more than Audley Harrison) KO3
                  8mos off
                  2011 Wladimir Klitschko (HW Champion of the world) L12 (1-11, 2-10, 3-9)
                  1yr off
2012 Dereck Chisora (Premier UK journeyman/contender, loss 3 of his last 4 fights) KO5
                  3yrs6mos off
2015 Mark de Mori (Who?) KO1
2015 Arnold Gjergjaj (Who Part II?) KO2

If this isn't a contender level 10-0 prospect vs 5-7-1 guy resume who fails hard when he moves up I don't know what is.

Haye is in a tricky position, he's trying to rebuild his career, yet he's hungry for exposure, headlines, he craves attention and this means fans misunderstand Haye, they believe he's solely here for money, which is completely wrong.
I don't think he's ever built a career at HW really. He's always long layoffs & poor opponent selections that do little to help you gain momentum. He's kinda like a less active version of Adonis Stevenson of HW. He's got his nice lil fan base that is completely happy with him fighting bums for nice money & thats that. Why be more. And fair enough if I could make $1M+ as a boxer like Haye & Stevenson fighting guys well beneath my talent level I doubt I could turn that down myself.
