ikr.. AJ always fights on PPV & people in UK buy it like crazy.. in US you have to earn your PPV right.. Classic example is GGG, he fights good & delivers a KO, has a crowd pleasing style yet doesn't crack a PPV entry & when they tried with Liemeux, it did minuscule numbers..

I like AJ but he has got to step up else even the casuals will start calling him a padded champ..

In this case, he is marinating the mandatory too.. Fight was supposed to be done happening around Nov, now its Spring next year.. It will just give Parker enough time to develop honestly..

The fight that fans want to see, is Joshua V Haye.

Just picture it, Wembley stadium, over 80,000 passionate boxing fans, incredible atmosphere on a beautiful summers evening in London as two titans of British boxing step into the ring, both knowing their opponent has genuine knockout power.

It would be the first real test of Joshua's career against a world class boxer, while this would be the chance for Haye to win over his many haters, fans that question if his heart really is in boxing.

Lets make this fight happen as currently in HW boxing we have big names, we have big characters and this will be a missed opportunity if we look back at this era and talk about the fights that never happened.

Parker has had more rounds against more durable opposition and already has a far better win over an extremely tough Takam whom's only stoppage is against a PED using Povetkin. If anything Joshua is the one under prepared for this, in fact I think he is hence the reason Hearn is desperate to squeeze more ppv's out of Joshua before having to face the mandatory. Facing guys like Breazeale, Whyte and Martin has done nothing for his career except had a meaningless strap to fool the casuals, well done, you were fooled.

I guess that means he won't be going for the unification this year then. Lining up Parker for next spring while Wilder and Fury are there to be had

          GG Hearn

Not real boxing fans. This is the message David Haye is broadcasting to the casuals who tune in to watch him and don't mind paying excessive gate fees to see him face anybody from the likes of De Mori, Briggs and the other Swiss nobody he took out in a round.

Real boxing fans want to see Joshua versus Klitschko, Wilder and Fury, Haye simply does not feature, unless youre a casual. Haye has done nothing in four years, his wins over no hopers are exactly that, he's lining up guys Briggs lined up racking up a the most number of first round stoppages, it's pathetic to hear anyone on this site clamouring for Haye vs Joshua, all I read into that is they're desperate to see Joshua knocked out or see Haye rewarded for doing nothing in the ring like he did against Klitschko.

I have no desire to see Haye grace the ring with his flop and flee style, when public and casual demand reaches tipping point for this fight it will be a sad day for boxing.

Hearn will have Joshua postpone and avoid Parker as long as possible, he's too dangerous.

I think we'll see Jishua and Wilder desperate to avoid Fury by facing each other in a Hearn and Haymon promotion, those two promoters appear to be doing business with nobody else except exclusive to themselves, they're trying to rig the market, Klitschko and Fury would beat both these guys with relative ease, hence why we'll never see it.

In UK Bellew is a ppv fighter ! I'm not joking. They'll literally buy and put anything in their mouth you put in front of them.

Joshua vs Wilder I think could do ppv both sides of the pond, certainly UK and I'm sure it'd be Vegas, this fight is being built it is inevitable, Haye, Fury, Ortiz and Klitschko have zero chance of getting them, expect Haye to keep fighting guys like Briggs and Klitschko, Ortiz and Fury will only have each other to face, I'd also expect Fury to retire before facing Ortiz and come back upon calling Joshua and Wilder winner out down the line for instance when fan pressure becomes too great from Fury goading and attacking them through media and events a la Briggs.

I think this is a good fight to keep Joshua moving towards better things. I don't see why he needs to be fighting Wilder or Fury right now. He's fought mostly bs guys & he's fighting better guys or allegedly better in regards to Martin anyway. And at this point Haye needs to do something to earn a fight with Joshua with his bs opponent list lately, but fair enough if Joshua wants the payday. I think Haye is one of the most overrated HW's in the sport today & while Joshua is still largely a question mark vs elite level guys & Haye has shown himself to be an elite level guy at one point, I don't think he's a elite caliber guy any longer + overall his HW resume is vastly overrated.

Well I for once don't believe everything Hearn says.. They talk about unification when AJ is still facing Breazeales of the world.. Its all about milking AJ's fan following.. I was surprised when Sky did not buy Fury-Klitschko 2, everything said & done about the last fight, it still is the biggest fight out there after May-Pac & may be Canelo-GGG...
Ortiz is a nice addition, but I honestly don't think he would beat Fury/Klitschko, but he will give them hell for sure.. AJ needs good 2 yrs to be at that elite level & defend it against elite..

Heck, Jonathan Banks was right.. When Klitschko leaves the scene people will be running after the belt like chasing chickens..
Wilder had good 2 yrs to accept Klitschko's offer but didn't.. Lets face it.. Klitschko still is the biggest draw in terms of numbers & rematch with Fury will determine if that stays or subsides.. I honestly think Nobody in HW can generate the numbers he does at this point..
