I'd rather Loma has fights with LSC, Frampton, Quigg, Donaire, Mares, Walters, Miura, Vargas...all these guys range from 122-130. A lot of these fights can be made.

Moving to 135 and probably fighting the weakest available champ isn't an achievement, it's the route that Broner took and look where that got him. Loma should establish a legacy and unify titles, not look for cheap "records".

What's the point in him fighting 122 guys?

I'd prefer he stayed around 130 for some unification fights, but I'd rather he looked at 135 than 122.

I mean it's likely someone with a frame like Quigg will move up, the same with Frampton (currently getting ready for 126lb v LSC). It's also likely Donaire and LSC and a few others would move up and face Loma or Loma could still make 126, he isn't a big guy.

If he does move up then he should be looking to unify all the belts at 135.

Problem is, there is more talent and challenger 122-130 than at 135 currently.

Heck, if this was boxing back in the day, we'd be looking at a series of fights between Selby, LSC, Frampton and Loma.

Is it possible for Loma to eventually fill out comfortably at 140 and how long do you think that would take ( a couple years?)... Because then his potential star status goes through the roof if he can dominate that weight division.

I dont put much weight in multiple weight class champions after
Ricky Burns was crowned a 3-division champ and broner a 4-division champ.
            laughable

            Adrien Broner won his

130 WBC vacant title against Vincente Rodriguez and defended the title against eloy perez and vincente escobedo. Not one guy in the top 5, in a rather weak weight class at that time.

135 WBA title against Antonio Demarco, who was ranked the #1 after his win against John Molina, but honestly, if Demarco is the #1 in a division, the division ought to be weak. Defended it against the midget Reese

147 WBA title against Malignaggi, by far the weakest champ. Got ****d by Maidana

140 WBA title against Khabib Allakhverdiev, coming off 1 1/2 year layoff and a lost

            = 4 Division Champ

i dont care about divisional champs as long as they dont beat the upper echelon of the division

I don't really see any point in Lomachenko fighting Quigg or Donaire.

The Santa Cruz-Frampton winner would have some interest, especially if it's LSC, but it seems doubtful either would fight Lomachenko given the usual barriers in place.

                That's a ridiculous statement.

Quigg just lost at 122 and Donaire, who wasn't really cut out for 126, has moved back down to 122.

What's the interest in seeing Lomachenko, who just won a title at 130, moving back down to 126 to fight a fighter (Quigg, Donaire) who'd be moving up in weight?

It's not like there's no one to challenge him @ 130. He's not in the same boat as GGG.I also hope Arum's talks with Haymon can lead to Loma vs. LSC, Mares, and Zlaticanin!

                    Absolutely !

Also, like you mentioned..... staying at 130 keeps him in the mix for LSC/Russell or any FW's who wanna move up.

I think he just wants to move up and take an immediate title fight, which if he wins, is AWESOME! But if he catches a beat down, will he come back the same? I don't think it's worth the risk!
