Spence is not some young pup or inexperience fighter he's 26 and faced world class fighters at the amateur and olmypics. and how the phuk is 1 fight with Bundu going to change a thing? Either he is ready to fight guys like Brook now or he isn't. If your point is he is too inexperienced (which he's not) and needs another year or 2 to fight Brook, Thurman, Porter, Khan, ect that's one thing. But that's not what you are saying. It's just a pointless stay busy fight against a bum bundu.
Spence needs a bigger jump up in the caliber of fighters then Bundu. I'm not even saying his next fight has to be Thurman for the title. But here is a BIG gap between Brook, Thurman, Porter and Bundu lol. He could at least fight a top 10 contender between that gap. One top 10 contender at the age of 26 with Spence's olympic background is not asking for too much and definitely not pushing him too fast.
Canelo 46 amateur fights Spence 64.
Canelo a pro for 10 years Spence 3 1/2 years
Canelo 49 pro fights Spence 20
First guy that Canelo fought that was even remotely close to Algieri? Being generous would be Jose Cotto in his 33rd fight after nearly 5 years as a pro.
How the hell can you possibly use Canelo to **** on Spence?
Also you bring up Loma who had what, 400 amateur fights? Plus the world series of boxing fights, which he had like 10. Also as good as Loma is, look what happened when he got in there with a savy veteran in Salido. Talent only takes you so far. There is no substitute for expirience. Amateur and pro are vastly different games.
The fact that you think the expirience from fighting different styles against solid opponents is meaningless for a fighter on the come up is quite worrisome.

I thought the point of haymon having all these guys was supposed to eliminate stop gaps and make these fights easy to make. Spence don't call the shots he was steered to the IBF mando and that's why he is calling out Brook. But why wasn't he steered to WBC (owned by Garcia) or WBA (owned by Thurman) if it's all about forcing a mando?
He's basically #2 behind Bradley for the WBO belt, since Manny is retired.
The WBC and the WBA have him ranked 5 & 7....
Khan will probably fight Danny next, since Khan's ranked 1. Thurman or Porter will have to fight avanesyan. So unless Brook or Vargas fight Bradley next, which is possible, the quickest route to a title for Spence is via the ibf. Even if the unified champ fought Bradley next, Spence would become the mandatory afterwards.
It seems pretty cut and dry to me. It's not haymons fought, you should blame the organizational rankings.
