disappointing. Bundu is a step down from the Algieri fight. And why does he have to jump through these hoops for a ****** IBF when Haymon has tons of the top welterweights? Why not match him with Danny, the winner or loser of Thurman/Porter, Khan, Peterson, Broner. Hell what about trying to get a fight with Bradley? All better options then this.

No he's not. Sure he's a full WW but he's never been a world champ and is 41 years old. He's not on ESPN, RING or anybody credible top 10 ranking for ANY weight for a reason. He is a middle of the road journey man. Algieri has quality wins of named fighters, was world champ and been in with more top fighters. After that win Spence should be stepping it up and fighting a legit top 10 ranked fighter and Bundu isn't that.

With the fighters in Haymon's stable there is no need to jump through hoops and fight a bum like Bundu when haymon has multiple world champs at 147 and loads of higher ranked fighters then Bundu.

Based on Bundu beating bums overseas? Algeri has fought and beaten higher caliber of fighters no matter how you try and spin it and is not 41 years old. What's the point in having all these fighters signed up if your guys can't even fight each other? Spence has graduated past fighting bums like Bundu and needs to be fighting top ranked fighters. He is not with a small time promoter who doesn't have other in house fighters to line up for spence. So why this song and dance with the trash IBF? Haymon only needs to snap his fingers and can give Spence a title shot against Danny or the winner of Thurman/Porter.
