By the time the lawyers get through hashing this out ( court cost, lawyer fees, penalties, lawsuit awards, etc) Canelos and Oscar will be begging for a super fight with GGG. Plus they could be looking at not only percentage payments from the golden boy fights (17) but also any future percentage payments of future fights to the plaintiffs. This could work out to GGGs advantage too.

They will give them however many millions to cover earnings that were lost, that will be that.

No surprise regarding the contract, fighters have a habbit of signing any contract that promoters put in front of them.

Canelo said he didn't understand what the document was when he signed it. But the document also has Chepo's signature, his manager. He should be suing his manager for malfeasance. It was his manager's job to explain to him what documents he's signing. No speaka ingles is not a valid defense.

It doesn't work that way in Florida. That's why Hulk Hogan was able to get $115 mil. And the appeal by Gawker was denied. To even appeal in Florida you have to put up a percentage of the settlement which is paid back if you win the appeal. Florida is the worse place to lose a civil suit because damages can be 3x's what the original amount was.

Not understanding English is almost as bad as the "Twinkies" defense from yesteryear.
