I certainly hope that they can come up with something better and more compelling than "I didn't know what it said because it was written in english." I cant imagine that holding any water. Most lawyers, at least in America, offer free consultations, and I cant imagine it would have been very costly to have a legal document translated to an understandable language before placing your signature on it. I would not sign my name to a document written in German, Japanese, Chinese, or any other language I dont understand. Its called due diligence.

Honestly I think all star has a pretty legit case here.. Canelo signed for 4 years and left after 2.. I don't buy Canelo's excuse of him not understanding it, only because his own manager also signed.. They knew what they were doing

Obviously a different legal system but that excuse would be laughed out of court in Australia unless it could be proven that he had signed under duress or something similar.

That being said, I wouldnt be surprised if they did take advantage of him but a contract is a contract and GBP possibly should have bought him out of it

                hahahahahahahahaha

I wonder if there is a way that All Star can get a portion of Canelo's future purses as well as the 27 million

The one who is truly dumber than a rock here is Oscar.

When faced with this kind of lawsuit you settle. Give these guys $10m before trial to go away. Going to trial is incredibly risky for them. Unless they have a better story than "I didn't know what I was signing' they're screwed. And btw I'm pretty sure Oscar can read Spanish.

PS on reflection, maybe Oscar can claim that he was on coke and too busy wearing ladies panties at the time so he was too busy to read it.
