    -you.
Never said anything like this. My point is you do not like the criticism of GGG by dontae so you have decided to address the criticism by stating it is prejudice against whites. yet many whites have the same criticisms about GGG relative to moving up. They also have similar criticisms regarding resume and actions, among other things.. Are they also prejudiced against whites?

My other point is if you think it is so prejudiced, stop supporting the channel by clicking on it.

    was it fair?

what about the joyous reaction when adrien broner was beat up by marcos maidana. the "broner be like," thread?

or was there an element of prejudice?

let me guess, that was race, but this is just good old fashioned, proper criticism from our guy dontae [whose content you've literally never seen.]
There are fair criticisms of any fighter. There are also unfair. when people criticize GGG for staying in shape at 160 , I think its ****** and say so. You decided that anyone that criticized GGG in this manner does so out of prejudice against whites.

You are pretending that GGG is the victim of prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against him based on the belief that a person's own race is superior. That is BS!

Go to floyd or Broner's social media accounts and compare the criticisms with those that GGG gets. Some are similar but the majority are significantly different. The substance of the comments make a large portion of them racist.

      Good thread, spot on.

The irony is that 2 months ago during the Khanelo era a lot of people were saying that Golovkin is a small MW and should have no problems coming down to 155 for Canelo. Now he's back to a 'huge MW that needs to move up'.

Fun fact - Golovkin has been outweighed in 8 his last 10 fights against MWs.

        Translation:

GGG is an unproven diva that thinks he's a draw and thinks he can call the shots and doesn't want to prove himself to become great. okay gotcha!

When the hell's the last time GGG made his opponent look smaller. If anything, a lot of the MWs are bigger than him.

The guy is an exact MW. No more, no less. If he moves up, he's always gonna be the smaller man, and with his style, it's not as easy to be successful as he moves up. Guys like Floyd and Pacquiao can move up and be successful agaisnt bigger guys, because of their style of fighting, and their movement, and speed.

GGG is a pressure fighter that isn't great off his backfoot like most fleet footed, slick counter punchers. Use common sense.
I disagree with your main statement bro,
GGG can move up at least at 168.

He beat Direll and Bute in amateur at 164 (75 Kg).
Those guys have been world champ in that division, GGG isn't big but not a small turtle like Abraham, and yet Abraham managed to get a 168 belt.
So Golovkin sould be able to move up to 168 at least.

175 might be too much for GGG, those guys are large man, 6 footers, + the quality P4P when you look at the champions is above 160 and 168 IMO.

But I agree on many points:

          1) He's not bigger than Canelo, Canelo comes in the ring heavier (171 and 174 for the last datas available) despite being able to drain his body to 155 for the weigh in.

          2) GGG is not a big middleweight, not a 6 footer and coming at 168 on fight night.

I think it might be time for GGG to move up. There's no one close to his current weight that can challenge him. He's running through these MWs like butter. Its time.

I'd love to see GGG take on some 168lbers or even 176 but you don't run before you can walk. He can't take long as he's too old but all the greatest fighters took out the cream of their primary weight class before moving elsewhere for bigger challenges or bigger paydays (which aren't always the same thing).

I don't have a problem with wanting to fight the next biggest (or closest equivalent) challenge or challenges in his weight class.

Then you move up for the legacy.

If he can't get any of Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs or Eubank as his next two successive fights then even the most insane hater can't blame him for not fighting them. To be fair though, if they won't fight him even the most rabid fan has to say it's time to move up a weight class (or even two) for legacy. I'd love to see him really challenged.

Yeah, Zurdo vs GGG would be intriguing, Zurdo is 4 inches taller than GGG.

They talk like dude is not ready, but putting a beating on Abraham for 12 rounds show us he can handle himself in a ring for 12 rounds.

Jack vs GGG would be a cool fight too.

what does any of that have to do with moving up?

Shirley, you know fighters move up?

SMH at some of these posts..

"GGG is hiding at 160?" ummmmmm.. WHAT?

You guys do realize the 168 division is relatively new and B-Hop himself said that's where fighters go to hide from the monsters at 160 & 175.. not to mention there's absolutely no reason for him to move up now.

Close to unifying 160, breaking records, etc.

If he wants a real challenge and greatness to boot, he could fight Ward in late July at 175. I think Ward still doesn't have an opponent for that date (not sure).

Don't we always hear from Sanchez how he's KOing light heavyweights, cruisers, and heavyweights with ease in sparring?
